Kurt Taylor not on roster?

Was this already talked about? I was just looking at the roster on mgoblue and noticed he wasn't listed anymore? I seem to remember him being there a few weeks ago when I looked

was Only a matter of time. Sucks cus he seems awesome, just not talented (relative to other RB on team).

FWIW, I was up for the Maryland game and saw Kurt and two other student-athletes dressed in team-issued sweats, walking through the tailgating crowd about an hour before kickoff.  I found it odd that he was not "inside" the stadium or at Glick, but that may not say something about something.

FWIW, I saw Kurt Taylor playing Counterstrike about an hour before the Penn State kickoff.  And yes, I found it a little odd, even though it was after I had been tailgating and drinking for about 6 hours before noticing Taylor. Not that this would or would not have affected my ability to recognize Kurt Taylor, but that may or may not say something about something.

I wonder if we did a poll on if we could take Higdon or Mike Weber all over again, and what the results would be... I'd guess 99.5% Higdon, with the 0.5% of voters being  buckeye slappies who lack integrity, here, like BrianBarringer. This clown enters my survivor pool, loses first few weeks, then claims his teenage son logged in with his email, and never paid... typical low character buckeye...

I'm not sure we will see a lot of Tru.  His spot is solidified, I feel like, as a #3 guy that can do some work on third down, especially as a blocker.  I don't think he has the upside of the young guys like Turner so it seems like they'd want to get him and the younger guys (Samuels too) some work because someone is going to need to replace Higdon next year and it's probably not going to be Tru.

I actually looked a couple weeks ago and remember seeing him listed on the roster.  Odd that he is no longer there yet there has been no official comment.  He always seemed like a longshot to contribute, but it is always disappointed to lose scholarship depth (if that is in fact the case).

I would expect more attrition to the roster. Our incoming recruiting class looks to be quite a bit bigger than the amount of scholarships we have available.

Officially we have 11 seniors graduating and currently 8 walk ons on scholarship (using mgoblog's depth chart as source). That would be 19 spots for the class. With early enrollees, 5th years not given, and attrition, I can see about 6-8 additional spots pushing this to the 25-27 range. That would give us about 3 more spots left. We have a lot of players that have Michigan as leaders/top 2 - Harrison, Crouch, Keegan, Ike, Perry, DeLoach, Peseck-Hickson. It'll be an interesting finish to the class for sure.

It's not necessarily the player waiting to commit. College coaches may already know, and it's the high school coaches that ask the player to hold off so others on their team can get college looks too. Or they like attention. Or they are involved with their high school and are seriously weighing many options. Or they just want to make you mad.

He looks like he’s gone. He was someone I would randomly check every few weeks to see if he was still on the roster. The odds of him ever playing always seemed very low.
