We worked on specific drills on our own and then we would work with the o-line and then the receivers. It is just too different/important of a position, if that is your game plan, to just go with the flow of the other positions.

This is super weird. I can get turning down Michigan, because that's not everybody's dream. If anything, Harbaugh's return proved that the public's perception of a job's prestige is not the end-all be-all for all candidates. But he accepted, contacted our recruit, and then bowed out because of MONEY?
That doesn't sit right with me. I think we'll either take another shot at him and convince him to come to Michigan for a better offer or he never really had interest to begin with.

I know he's a great recruiter, but let's not get carried away with all these assistant coaches. At the end of the day, it's the head coach the makes the biggest difference. Just look at how many assistants Meyer has lost over the years and he still keeps winning.

A great HC can offset average coordinators. Great coordinators shouldn't be devalued. That is how you win championships.

Would have loved to have Marrow on the staff. But let's face it, Hoke & co. showed that recruiting means nothing if the players don't develop. Remember our jubilation on that day if February 2012 when we had all those big commitments? How little we knew...

Good luck to him. Also - this has to be the most followed TE coaching search in history.

I figured as much. Hate to be one of those people, but "I told ya so".
Remember, majority of those reporting are local beat reporters....same as those who were reporting for UM about Harbaugh to Michigan. Just because they are reporting something some of you don't want to hear doesn't mean they're "stupid". Not everyone wants to go to Michigan.
It was obvious he was using UM as leverage when he didn't jump on the job. His heart is obviously at UK or he would have been in A2 yesterday.
FWIW... UK is foremost a BB school but they have been pouring more money into their FB program, hence the whole Stoops hire a couple of years ago. They're getting tired of being the red headed step child of the SEC and are doing what they can to improve their program. I think Marrow would be far more overshadowed at UM with the coaching staff Harbaugh wants to put together where it can be more of his show at UK.
