Karsen Barnhart's Stock on the Rise
Article from Sam Webb about Karsen Barnhart's performances at two camps, the Nike Opening Regional in Ohio and the Under Armour Camp in Chicago in the past week. I think this article will make the star gazers happy

The linked 247 article above says that George Karliftis is considering a number of schools. I can't read Sam Webb's VIP article from yesterday, but it says Karliftis is still "strongly considering Michigan." The write up on him last year made him sound like a great kid. Looks like I'm listening to the recruiting round up on the Michigan Insider today.
committed to Purdue is that the kid really likes UM and Ann Arbor. It might even be his first choice.
He also seems to like Purdue and the family ties to the school were too much for him to choose another school.
I am still optimistic because I believe one of two things will happen with Purdue this year:
1. They go back to being Pur-don't
2. They have another solid year and Brohm moves on to a better job
Either way, it very well be enough for George to flip. If he does flip, Michigan seems to be the leading candidate.
99% of coaching hires are done prior to December 19. Even the Tennessee $hitshow was finalized by Dec 7th.
You can't keep the barn down.... Amish barn raising party, look for the guys with the beards.
The only video I saw of him from last weekend was of Michael Fletcher blowing past him in one on ones. He must have looked better in other reps.
He did look better in other reps, but keep two things in mind:
a) Camp settings are heavily slanted toward favoring the DL.
b) Michael Fletcher is no slouch.
Barnhart saw a serious jump in his ranking, now a high 3 star at 424th overall in the country. He camps well this Summer and low 4 star should happen.
