Nice to see Jordan rocking some M gear the night before the game!

Has he really proven he is gonna be able to stick in the nba though? Have you seen his shooting stats and this play from the other night:

He made the right choice to go pro since he got picked in the first round and got guaranteed money, but he would hardly see the floor if it weren't for the Warriors having their roster decimated right now. Really hope he can put it all together and have a decent career, but NBA teams will only be so patient.

So many downvotes for so many truths.

Judging any performance in GS this year is a DANGEROUS proposition.  They are turrrible and half the time look like a G-League team. Might even be the worst team in the league this year.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. He made the right choice, got drafted in the first round indicating he's gonna get some money and a serious chance to prove he can play in the league but he's been wildly inefficient for a dogshit warriors team this year.

Not saying he won't have a good career but judging anything on this warriors team is a serious roll of the dice.

Love JP.  I've been one of his biggest cheerleaders.  The Warriors recognized his potential.

But he has to improve his shot selection and shooting percentage if he hopes to last in the league.

All right, here's a scenario for you, Dad:

Suppose Nancy sees me coming out of the shower...

...and decides to come on to me.

I'm looking good.

I've got a luscious V of hair...

...going from my chest pubes down to my ball-fro.

And she takes one look at me, and she goes:

"Oh, my God. I've had the old bull, now I want the young calf."

- And she grabs me by the wiener.

- Shut the fuck up!

JP will grow into the league. Gonna take a bit of time...but good for him.  Make that money.

one thing i will say...you always know where JP is on the floor. Them some short, shorts. Lol.

These takes are all awful unless there’s a /s I’m missing somewhere. JP is being forced into a role he shouldn’t even be in because of injuries. Fact of the matter is the guy got drafted in the first round by one of the best talent-evaluating teams in the league, skipped the typical G-league transition period, and is playing a ton of minutes for an NBA team. His stats aren’t great but as I mentioned his role was meant to be a “come off the bench every now and then for experience” role, not a “instantly be a playmaker for us” role. If you’re still upset he chose to go to the NBA then you need to re-evaluate what you get upset about, because this shouldn’t be one of those things.

Edit: This was meant to be a reply to the negged responses above. Must’ve clicked the wrong reply box by mistake.

Well, the only post that actually seems upset so far is yours.  I think there are some honest evaluations above of his performance in the league so far.  It is early days for Jordan though, so we will see what he does.  The question on did he make the right choice will always be there.  He got picked in the first round and will get some good money.  But that ignores what might have happened had he stayed.  Would he have had an easier transition into the NBA that would facilitate a longer career and more earnings?  We will never know and right now we don’t know what his career will be.

To say that GS is one of the best talent evaluating teams is inaccurate. The guys in the front office for Golden State who identified Curry, Thompson, and Green in the 2009-2012 drafts are gone. They haven't drafted anyone of significance in 7 years. They signed Durant and Cousins and a few other obvious pickup but that took no talent evaluation skill to sign KD and take a flyer on Boogie. The current FO at GS has a fairly poor track record.

Your points on the context are valid. Still, that would explain away something like Poole shooting 38% and 32% for 3 or whatever. Not 27%. Out of guys with 10+ FGA/G Poole is last in the league. That's on him in large part, he still makes a lot of poor decisions. Hope he gets it fixed soon so he can stick because he can be better than this.

Watching him tonight against the Celtics and he has badly bricked four shots, turned the ball over twice and is having major issues on defense.

He looks the way one of us would look if we got thrown into a D1 game.

Is he carrying his lunch box?

Seriously, I wish he would've stayed another year.  A team with JP, Wagner, X, Teske, Livers, DDJ and Johns would be serious B1G and possibly NC contenders.
