Oh come on, the players deciding whether or not a teammate should be on the team is bullshit.

If Reschke was a walk-on who would never see the field, I'm sure the team's answer would've been different but because he has a chance to contribute, they wanted him back. A person's talent level should not have anything to do with the discipline levied, but that kind of stuff happens when you turn discipline over to the players because they value winning over all else. If players were always had say in the discipline of other players all suspensions, fines, expulsions, etc. would be much less severe in almost every case.

Fucking pathetic.

I can say with some confience that Mark Dantonio cares a hell of a lot more about his depth chart than he does the feelings of kids on his team.

Now I do wonder if he'll get dinged by a drug test, since he seems like the type of guy who wouldn't be all that careful when not officially on the team.

You have to figure he was only brought back because of how thin they are at LB and DE. Classy Dantonio

My buddies son plays WR for for s D1 School and is one of a few white kids in the WR room.  They nicknamed him mini wheat.

It’s awesome that most people are perfect so we don’t need to exhaust our forgiveness.

Fuck MSU just the same

If the team welcomes him back, so be it.  If it creates turmoil and causes strife in the locker room, so be it.  If we go into EL and run the score up, so be it.

MSU and their fans remind me of a cult where if Dantonio/Izzo were to shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue, they wouldn't lose a single supporter. What a disgusting shithole of a "university".

Coaching a major sport at MSU clearly comes with perks as far as how easy it is to avoid media scrutiny and accountability.

Harbaugh wouldn't be able to walk 5 feet in public before news outlets would be in his face asking questions about revelations similar to MSU's back in February. And simply issuing a general denial while not dealing with questions would work for a few days tops before he'd be out the door.

Has ANY reporter asked ANY follow ups to Dantonio about the specifics in the ESPN report in 6 months? If they have, I'd love to see a video of that exchange. He issues a blanket denial full of defiance then slithers back under cover refusing to man up.

And yeah their fans are equally pathetic for letting it all go on without the program's leader actually leading and taking questions.

It's a sad place all around.

The deal with this player is small potatoes for them.

So he apologized in Feb for calling his teammate that, but it really looks like he was calling everyone that...

That makes it not an off the cuff reaction, and more his personal feelings coming to light. There is no place in sports for potential role models like that.

Also the team vote is laughable. Dantonio said what, do you guys want to win or maybe have a weakness at de/olb? Was it an open vote, raise your hand, etc? Oh, I see who's not a team player... Yeah, there's only one logical vote for people who know dantonio and his win at all cost mentality, unless you want to sit on the bench.

It would be something if the racist stuff was all, but he's also a shitty football player who is on video launching himself recklessly at opponents, putting himself, others and teammates in danger. Not surprising considering Mork is running the shit show. Fortunately the ethical staff at the LSJ will call him out as they have often in the past....

It’s not politically incorrect. It’s racist. Nobody is praising the teammate. He wronged his teammate if he slept with the teammate’s girlfriend while they were still together. But Reschke failed every single one of his black teammates and calls every single one of his interactions with them into question.
