Too little too late. Whatever chance we had they burned by not granting him this completely reasonable request. 

It is absolutely absurd that Manuel waited until it was over to reach his actual offer. Maybe Michigan could hire someone who is not totally incompetent for the next AD.

This is worse than if we hadn't offered it at all.

I had been willing to believe that this particular demand of Jim's was one that UM would just simply never agree to.

The fact that they are now agreeing to it, at this late hour, either means it's a fake concession meant to placate fans because they know the Chargers deal is already done, or it means that the level of incompetence from the administration is as bad as the biggest detractors here had been saying.

Either way, it's bad.
