Jim Hackett: For the first time in 7 years, there's a waiting list for tickets

Submitted by Don on

In the course of being interviewed live by Dierdorf and Brandstatter, Jim Hackett just stated there is now a waiting list for season tickets, he said for the first time in seven years.

The hire of Harbaugh is already reaping financial rewards. Money very well invested.

Considering the clusterfuck that DB turned the program into, I'm surprised they sold as many season tickets as they did.

Here is the one thing that is "crazy" to me, though: in less than four months, Harbaugh and Hackett have undone seven years of David Brandon's damage to the program.  Even when Harbaugh wins his first National Championship, I might see the rapid neutralization of Brandon's gross mismanagement to be the most impressive accomplishment of all.

I agree that when you consider why it was so low that it makes sense but I guess I was thinking in a bigger sense.  If you would have told me that season ticket demand would evaporate at M 10 yrs ago I would have laughed at you.  It's crazy in that I feel like I am finally waking up from what seemed like a bad dream.

I'm so glad that I was able to get season tickets last year. Appears like it happened at the right time with there being a wait list now. I can't wait for September 12th to come!

BTW, I don't know if it's been mentioned but there was no RAWK played during the game today.  Just the Michigan Marching Band.  An actual college atmosphere - who'd a thunk it?

but sounds like Hackett blowing his own horn.  Are we saying that folks thought RR, who'd done so well previously, was going to be a failure right out of the shoot?  Hope springs eternal; I just hope we win some f'ing games.
