Congrats to Minter. His ability to iterate on last year's success has been impressive. Additionally, his second half adjustments are now bordering on "legend" status.

That said, and like Brian said on the pod this week, should have been Moore last year. Should be Moore this year. This team is 22-2 since the start of the 21 season, and while the effort has been a lot of different parts coming together all at once, it starts "in the trenches."

Would be huge.  What would be huger is if he and the rest of the coaches stay a few more years.  Great group.  Get the money cannons ready.

Jim Harbaugh hit back-to-back home runs with MacDonald and Minter, although the biggest test for Minter has not come yet. Let's hope that this year's defense can get to Stroud as many times as last year's.

Maybe I could see the OC from Tennessee being a finalist. Maybe DeShaun Foster, the running backs coach at UCLA, just because Zach Charbonnet.

But is there really a better candidate out there than Minter?

Maybe the DL coach at USC (ha!)?

I had no idea DeShaun Foster, former star UCLA RB, was back coaching at his alma mater. That's cool. I like seeing players coaching at their alma maters.

Looks like he's doing a great job with Charbonnet, just as Mike Hart is doing with Corum.

He deserves it. I just hope we can keep him, because he's going to be a hot commodity by seasons end. Pay that man, put a ring on it, name things after him, lock him down.

I'm looking to Minter to cook up a genius game plan and make adjustments that befuddle OSU in 11 days.  I don't have the expertise to know the mechanics of executing this but neutralize Marvin Harrison and force them to be one-dimensional and rely on their true freshman (not sure if that's accurate) RB.  Do it Minter!
