Jeff Lesson 97.1 Cites Source: Michigan Can Prove NINE Other B1G Schools Sent Analysts To Record Games

Didn't see this posted this am.

Per subject line, Michigan says they have the (NEW) receipts and are willing to make ugly a hell of a lot uglier.  Might be the reason for all the delays...

If we really have information about the nine other schools we have to release it because right now the narrative is Michigan's season is tainted even if we win the natty and our success the last two years was due to cheating. If the majority of the rest of the conference was doing something similar we need that out in the open.

My advice would be to take this with a whole container of salt. If other teams were doing this, it seems unlikely they’d push so hard for the B1G to clamp down on Michigan.

And presumably Michigan would’ve already at least leaked this idea to someone with a bit of a higher profile.

Teams were definitely trading signs, but yeah hard to envision this particular thing being true.

As Dan Wetzel pointed out, none of these soft, whiny coaches are deep thinkers. As with Harbaugh, they almost certainly aren't aware of everything that goes on regarding their low-level staffers/analysts. I would be incredibly surprised if OSU hasn't been sending people to our games for years. Urban Meyer confessed to having a guy whose only job was to analyze Michigan. I really, really doubt he was just looking at public game footage. The real question is: did they cover their tracks?

I get a feeling this is a warning shot from Michigan.  I don't believe they want to expose the rest of the B1G programs, but if they have to due to a Harbaugh suspension that was pushed by many of these coaches, then they will.

I reserve judgment because it's hard to know how much of this is just messageboard wishcasting and radio/site clickbait but you've got to believe that Connor Stalions wasn't the only guy in the conference who tried to skirt this issue.

Also, I fully expect the OSU, PSU, and MSU fans who are slowly dying because they realize UM isn't going to be destroyed to go full conspiracy theory if any of this comes out.

Based on what we know of the report from the PI firm that totally isn't linked to Ryan Day & OSU, it's clear they went to various Big Ten schools and had them scan their ticket sale records and security cam footage. I have been thinking, if you're Michigan, you should absolutely be cross-referencing all your ticket sales for the last 10 years with a list of all current and former staffers from every Big Ten school. Better yet, go by billing information, which is less likely to be faked.

Lesson and Reeger (sp?) still don't get it.  What Connor Stalions did even if wrong, was trivial.  It is a trivial rule which breaking is worthy of probation.  It did not affect the game.  I sincerely believe that Jim Harbaugh didn't know because Stalions did not find anything noteworthy.    It is the nothing burger of nothing burgers.  This is all about breaking a cost saving rule not the integrity of the game.  Modern technology has made the rule obsolete.  There is nothing to discover by going early and in person.  Remember, these coaches have had the opportunity to watch Michigan firsthand for many years.

Unleash hell since all these coaches and ADs want to test the waters. You just stepped into the ring with young Mike Tyson. You had a plan, but you’re about to get punched like you’ve never been punched before. Time for a KO
