THE SLEDGEHAMMER’s hot start mentioned in the Ronnie Bell TD thread earlier, but didn’t know it was NFL unprecedented hot start, so why not celebrate with its own thread?

Article also gives Ronnie Bell some love on 1st career reception being a TD.

I also need to change my moniker to THE SLEDGEHAMMER

Scoring a touchdown on your first career reception in the NFL probably should be considered like homering in your first at-bat in Major League Baseball. LINK

EDIT: Meant for the thread about Ronnie Bell's first TD catch for the 49ers. LINK

The only negative is he has to be in the Bay Area where the $850,000 he makes this year likely seems like it doesn’t go very far. In frickin Green Bay, KC or Jacksonville you could run the place. I’m not saying he’s making nothing, but NFL salaries go harder in some cities more than others.

Nice night for Michigan alumns- seeing Ronnie Bell catch his TD and watching Moody nail his FG’s I kept saying Michigan guys are winning this game for the 49ers because they scored all the points. Glad to see harbaugh’s guys doing well in the nfl.
