This is exactly how NOT to enter The Game.  If the osu qb is not yelling about how he is going to "Tear UoM a new asshole starting with that pud whacking J.J.!!!!" then you aren't in it to win it.  osu'ers are probably shaking their collective heads at that interview.  With that, I hope UoM absolutely devours this haphazard take on The Game, and subsequently shits osu out in lil turds on our field this Saturday.

I want to put this here as a bookmark.  I believe that once osu realizes that The Game is a loss for them, they will cease protecting this kid and let the sacks count up on him.  Blame is about to fall squarely on him for this comment.

Had to log in just to down vote this thread. First, the McMid thing. I had to click on it just to see wtf that meant. Then drawing this conclusion based on that answer is ridiculous. He isn't shook. He's giving the pad answer to that question, the same one probably every Buckeye will give.

Meh. He sounds like he just learned about the rivalry yesterday. Burke out there guaranteeing a win and saying there is nothing special about Michigan. Everyone has their way of coping with the pressure and spotlight. Both could be 100% poised and dialed in, both could be just about shitting their pants. Unless you can read minds and know for certain, I wouldn't analyze too much either way.

He’s got the weight of the world on him.  He knows the third baseman is going to throw him under the bus after they lose - just like psu firing the OC immediately afterwards, that bitch of a coach will be publicly hunting for a replacement in the portal.   Anything to deflect the blame

If we put ungodly pressure on him they’ll crumple.  They can’t fall back and go run heavy like we can if the pass rush becomes overwhelming.  His numbers under pressure are horrible

I don’t know if he’s rattled or whatever and I don’t think an interview a few days before the game is really indicative of the emotions on Saturday, but we don’t need him to be panicked. We just need him to be his completely average self. He’s only thrown four interceptions (stat may need to be double checked) but I saw a stat that included dropped interceptions and he has thrown 8 that were dropped. I don’t think anyone in the country has benefited more from dropped int’s than McCord. He should have 12 picks, slightly above one per game, this season. 


If he comes out and just plays his regular game, we will have at least one interception this Saturday. I love the way we match up with these guys and I think it’s going to be a quick game where we methodically pound the ball down their throats. 21-3 at half, 37-3 final and just a complete domination.

Bold prediction: Marvin Harrison will sit out the bowl game, so this will be his last game in an OSU uniform. 1 catch for 8 yards. Will Johnson while in coverage on Harrison: 2 interceptions for 67 yards, 1 TD.
