I doubt it. I mean think about it, every Michigan fan going there for a Saturday noon game is going to be in town Friday night and being a visitor well what are you going to do on a Friday evening other than hitting town and going for a meal and maybe some drinks. Meanwhile the Hawkeye hordes are sitting at their dinner tables at home watching Farming Today or whatever the heck it is they do out there.

I will be there… first time at Iowa (only 6 BIG stadiums left to visit after this). Our 3 tickets came from an Iowa fan so thats a 6 fan swing towards the good guys…

I’m hoping the Blue pant mojo vs Iowa from Indy is still there.

I liked Ross Ade in West Lafayette the best, mostly because we are undefeated in the games I went to, and the wife is an Alum.

I still need to hit Wiscy, Nebraska and Northwestern in the west and Penn State, Rutgers and Maryland in the east… I’d only need 2 if it weren’t for expansion.

I have also been to Notre Dame, and Memphis.

East Lansing is the worst, the fans are just atrocious there, had an Al Kessel twin try to fight me one year, a drunk sorority girl tried to push my pregnant wife another year and last year some jack wad challenged my 11 year old son to a fight. My worst experience with fans at any other stadium is still better than my best experience at Spartan stadium. I have only had people try to fight at Spartan stadium.

The net positive of last years experience was that all 3 of kids despise MSU and will for life.

So jealous.  Working tonight up the road but feeling some nostalgia of yesteryears and how I'd be going about tonight (or just no work and pretend to be 22). Debating driving down in the morning with the wife and kiddo to take the atmosphere in, maybe check out the BigNoon Kickoff Show set. Head back home for Kickoff.  Setting up to be a gorgeous bleeping day.

Also...I see Barrel Aged Velet is on tap at Bit Grove.  Highly recommend a pour.  It isn't all world status but it's a tasty local barrel-aged vanilla stout

y’all be careful. i’ve been to a few B1G womens hoops tournaments and iowa fans have been, uniformly and literally without exception, complete assholes.  “iowa nice” looked like a scam to me!

(mostly just stirring the pot here…but their WBB fans really were shitty assholes)

Then I’d assume if they get that worked up about basketball then football fans would be completely civil. Hopefully they’re all zombified from watching their offense. OSU fans take the cake for complete dbags with Wisconsin trailing in 2nd. Haven’t been to Iowa so can’t comment.

If there are 3k - 7k Michigan fans, most of them would have to go out to eat. Now add that it's in Iowa City, whose population is about half of the Kalamazoo metro area and closer to the population of a gameday inside Michigan Stadium. However, it's still awesome to hear that there is a strong showing of Wolverines there to support the team.

Took a bus with friends to Iowa for the Speight injury game and the ride home was painful. I won’t go to Iowa again for a long time that place is voodoo.

I have never seen one of us crawl.  I think you mean our presence is obvious and we are well represented as our fans descend on Iowa City.
