Per his Twitter, JT Daniels to Make an Announcement at 8 pm
Wiltfong put his ballz on USC
to know whether this is just a "I've narrowed my choices down to these 3 schools" or an actual commitment, or something else. I guess we'll find out at 8. Whatever he announces, I hope it's in our favor.
He announced yesterday that he narrowed his list down to Michigan, Washington, Stanford, and USC.
I dunno what this will be. Maybe his uncle is going to be on a TV show
but bringing him in would be a huge in on the west coast and the recruits he could bring with him
Yeah, but a QB depth chart can get awfully thin, awfully quickly.
So he's not a fan of BBQ I guess? Odd after the totally glowing interviews that came out this morning on the pay sites. If he was solid USC by this morning you'd think they'd have been more circumspect.
BBQs always don't go well....
that he loved the visit and just doesn't want to play that far away from home. Honestly, USC won the Rose Bowl, they have a beautiful campus in a great city, and Sam Darnold can leave after next year for the NFL. It's tough to pull California kids when USC is good.
As a California resident I will only disagree on the beautiful campus and great city take. Their campus and South Central is far worse than A2.
It's certainly not A2, but not many places are. It is a good campus, and it's close to home. I'd obviously pick A2, but I see why a California kid wouldn't. Though if it was up to me, I'd rather go to Palo Alto than LA.
Today's CBs looking poor for the good guys
Any other top qbs interested in Michigan in 2019. Weird that we haven't landed a top 5 star qb yet since that's what Harbaugh is known for.
He is known for qb development. Weird that we haven't landed a 5 star qb yet when he's clearly one of the best qb coaches in the country. Not sure how this fact says anything bad about Peters or Mccaffery.
Depth chart at USC is favorable for him and it is his home town school. Bummer.
Upside is he isn't pulling a Najee. It allows us to move on quickly for a different 2019 QB prospect. As much as I'd love to have him, it's still a position of strength for us in 2019. The year we will really need a star QB is 2020 or so.
I dont like the looks of this.
He JUST visited Michigan. I dont think he could make a decision to commit to Michigan so quick after visiting one time. A kid smart enough to go to Stanford isnt going to make quick decisions.
hope im wrong
Great passer. Looks pretty slow as a runner from what I've seen. Can he move at all?
Outside of Brandy and Manning what statue QB's have been winning MNCs and Super Bowls lately?
Running QB's die in the NFL - even giants like Cam Newton get beat to hell
If you want to succeed in the NFL you better be a pass first QB or forget it
The fact remains that the only time we've beaten OSU in the last 15 years is with an athletic quarterback - Denard.
17 - QB Watson - threw for 420 yards
16 - Coker - threw for 335 yards
15 - C Jones - not a runner
14 - WInston - not a runner
13 - AJ McCarron - not a runner
some mobility? sure
but if you cannot throw the ball forget it
