UMB11, is the rumored internal strife regarding injuries and lack of communication something that has had an impact on the performance of the defense in the last part of the season? The D just seems to have fallen off a cliff in a way I never would've expected.

This is excellent. Hopefully we can upgrade the other safety position. I know that we will be missing some incredible defensive ends and an all American linebacker.   The team coming back next year its going to be a lot of fun. It is time to take that next step and beat osu.

So when will Ambry Thomas play? Move him to offense if he can’t play on D. Wasting his athletic ability on the bench.

Good, this team has all the potential in the world next season! Please Harbaugh hire Brian wright or mike yurchic and we can maybe have some fun next year

While I think it both guys made the right decision coming back, I think it says more about the program. If it’s as bad as some think or report, why would someone with an NFL shot come back? I think Lewan said it best, not everyone is cut out to be a Michigan Man

Or even if Metellus moves to Kinnel's spot and Dax into Metellus' we're good, which seems more likely to me.. Either way elite speed in the back-end is a must! Haven't had that since Delano Hill and Dymonte Thomas were here..

Brown's system absolutely NEEDS fast safeties (that can cover too) to function properly. I like Metellus and Kinnel but they were not ideal for this system and it showed a lot the past two years.

Kimble: Do you remember what I told you in the tunnel?
Gerard: I remember it was noisy. Well, I think you said something like... "you didn't kill your wife."
Kimble: Remember what you told me?
Gerard: I remember you were pointing my gun at me.
Kimble: You said, "I don't care."
Gerard: Yeah, Richard, that's right, I don't care. I'm not trying to solve a puzzle, here.
Kimble: Well, I am trying to solve a puzzle. And I just found a big piece. (puts the phone down on the desk and leaves)

Cale Gundy would be the guy I'd most like to see on the staff. Make him OC.

I do think it's time for Jay to take the next step elsewhere and would be happy to see Jim and Mike Hart make amends.

This is a bright spot. With at least Hill, Hill, Thomas and Metellus....the defensive back field should be decent with more speed.

90% of the offense is coming back and with some new oline recruits for competition, the oline should improve more. Charbonnet hopefully replaces the loss of Higdon.

If Hinton can make an impact, the defensive line will be fine. Uche, kemp, Hinton, Hutchinson, Solomon, Paye, vilian, and Jeter. (Just need to play up to hype/potential and stay healthy).

Michigan played poorly against OSU and Florida, but still had a good season... not great but good. It is actually a great thing that the fan base is not accepting or happy with 10 win seasons. That is a big improvement from 2008-2014 where hoping for 8 wins was the norm or even hoping for bowl eligibility. Harbaugh is 38-14, 2-1 against wisc, 2-2 against MSU, 3-1 against PSU, 3-0 against NW...really one glitch that needs to be fixed, the 0-4. Got a lot of monkeys off the back this season and 3 10 win seasons the last 4 is huge. Having Nd, MSU and OSU at home will be great. I can see being 10-1 or 9-2 facing OSU again for the East, hopefully with different results. Go blue!

P.s. please run some more spread, slants, screens to rb and pass to the talent!
