Hello: WR Fredrick Moore
Good!
Really solid WR who has had some good camp performances lately. Most notable knock on him is his track speed but Moore states that his most recent track time is from his sophomore year and he is much faster now. Of note, during one camp, he performed well against Jyaire Hill who is a CB prospect that Michigan is really high on as well
Only 3 stars. I only get up for 4.5 or above.
Why are you so MeanJoooookay I got it.
He’s lightning quick and a nice compliment to Semaj Morgan in the class. Two very shifty, speedster types that I think will outplay their current rankings.
You be you, MJ07.
And those lower than 4.5 thank you, I'm sure...
He's a 5* in the transformational Middle247 rankings.
Thoughts and Prayers to NewBlue9677 and company.
I guess Michigan football will continue to have players in coming years.
Who knew.
I don't know who this NewBlue9677 is, but has similar characters to my profile name. If you are referring to me, then I do not know why as I think Moore will have Freddy Canteen hype but with a lot of production to back it up. I stated it before on here, even though I am no expert in judging talent, I like Moore a lot.
I welcome him AND his awesome sunglasses.
I know nothing about his recruiting profile, upside, or effect on the class. Nevertheless, this commitment makes me absolutely giddy.
We now have irrefutable evidence of a recruit examining Michigan through maize-colored glasses:
Welcome aboard Fredrick Moore!
Three star mafia caveats aside I am warming up to him as a recruit. He looks quick, agile in the slot, good body control on the outside (good that he’s flexible inside/outside with Semaj Morgan as a true slot in the class). The concern has been speed since his sophomore track times in the 100 were meh, but he sure looks like he plays fast. Tough to gauge the competition he’s playing against but I’m optimistic about his speed and love the versatility shown on his tape. Seems like a Sainristil type that will be a real program guy, good on special teams, etc.
Welcome Fredrick and Go Blue!
So he'll be playing corner eventually?
Woohoo!! Welcome Fredrick! Go Blue!!
Welcome to the team!
Good pickup. Glad things are beginning to come together and we are filling out this class. Unless we get another slot type that's a 5 star bonafide speed demon like Jalen Brown or Wingo, they should look to add some taller and more physical WR's to the class.
This is great news. Finally, a recruiting news that we can get behind.
Only three stars?
Thoughts and prayers to Maizen during this trying time.
Yea for Freddy!
Look at me, Daddy, I'm a WR!
Daddy would you like some Semaj? Daddy would you like some Semajes?
Guy plays much faster than the stopwatch. UM landed a near 5* WR talent in the last class that had this identical concern:
As the 4.6 forty in his Hudl suggests, Morris's top speed may be his biggest limiting factor, though only in that he's not ELITE-elite, if the dude still ran an 11.5 100-meter (and 4.2 shuttle).
Great to have Morris and Moore. Congrats to Fredrick on a lifelong, winning choice. Go Blue.
11.5 is like a 4.7. He doesn't look particularly fast on film so I would believe something in the 4.6 range. That definitely seems like the biggest knock.
However he looks outstanding in terms of footwork, route running, and efficiency of movement. Ronnie Bell seems like a good comparison. Good pickup especially if he can come in and contribute early
I don't care much about his ranking. I'm adding two stars to every commit from St Louis.
Yeah we need more dudes from St. Louis. A St. Louis 3 star is a 5 star. A 2 star is a 4 star. And those ranked below 750 in overall rankings end up as draft picks.
Hell yeah!!!
From a fellow St. Louisian, welcome. Go Blue!
Sucks you guys are getting in on the St. Louis pipeline. We’ve gone in there and got some great talent. It’s a very untapped recruiting ground. Ritter is a good program.
Welcome and congratulations Fredrick. Wearing the M hat with swag.
I especially like this from the Mgoblog intro on him:
"He's a Tyler Morris type known for bespoke routes and moving after the catch. He was the guy next to national #1 WR Luther Burden a few years ago, then had a 1,000+ yard season and 12-TD breakout campaign when Burden transferred."
