This + not all 3 stars are the same. From EJ Holland (Rivals):
"I've said this many times, but Grant is one of the most underrated prospects in the country. In fact, I think he is THE most underrated prospect in the country. You see that headshot on his profile? That's mine. No other Rivals representative has gone out to see Grant live, which is a travesty. He is a monster recruit that should easily be in the Rivals250. Grant is powerful, quick and athletic for his size and a dominant force at the high school level."

And LITERALLY the first sentence of the link provided is "Merrillville (Ind.) High four-star defensive tackle Kenneth Grant announced his commitment to Michigan on Tuesday." Which are we to trust? The composite saying 3* OR the most consistent ranking service (247) and the only scout from rivals who actually watched him live (Holland) saying 4 Star?

Grant's more of a top 250 recruit based on his offers and how he was recruited. Maybe the rankings will eventually catch up.

We really need some DTs in the worst way. I hope next year some of the recruits start making some noticeable improvements. If they can reach the holding the o-line in place level that would just be awesome.

I’ll never forget passing on Jonathan Hankins. Big dude, borderline 3/4 star, probably still playing in the NFL. D-Lineman are weird. We couldn’t get Will Campbell, Ondre Pipkins or Aubrey Solomon to be great D-Lineman, but Mo Hurst, Ryan Glasgow and Willie Henry were nfl players.

With the Michigan Rivals site falling apart the composite is worthless at the moment. 247 has him as 4 star and to me at least he backs that up with his videos. I wonder if TS's latest adventure, On3 will be included in the composite. Terry started Rivals, sold it. Started 247, sold it, Now On3. Stay tuned!
