Came at 38 weeks, son was 7 lb 12 oz, proud M alum daughter at 6 lb 4 oz. 14 lbs of babies, didn't have to spend a minute in the NICU. Luckier than we could imagine.
As is Coach Jim and family, I'd wager!

It was awful. I wouldn't trade it for anything, however. That year "put steel in our spines". The MBB Final Four run went on during this time and I honestly felt like it was some divine happening going down for us. I consider my youngest son the toughest man alive. Except for possibly Harbaugh.

Does Jack Harbaugh live in Tennessee? Harbaugh was at the Vanderbilt game with him last night and I, not realizing it was still the dead period, figured he was recruiting. Maybe he was there so his dad could be around for the birth?

No Jack lives in Ann Arbor. Harbaugh was in Nashville for coaching convention. Baby was 3 weeks early.

I completely forgot that the NICU was named after Dave Brandon's kids. Probably the only pleasant memory I have of him was his generosity to the hospital

Congratulatios to to Sarah, Coach Jim and the entire close-knit Harbaugh Clan. Truly a wonderful family.
Just a few words on unsolicited advice:
Spend time with Sarah, new son John and the rest of the children. Your devoted fanbase will understand taking a bit of a break as recruting winds down.
No disrespect Coach John Harbaugh, but may have missed an opportunity and wondered if naming the child Najee was ever a consideration?
