Harbaughs on Tom Crean & IU
http://www.si.com/college-basketball/2017/03/17/indiana-tom-crean-fired-jim-john-harbaugh
Interesting read into the family dynamic between John and Jim Harbaugh and their brother in law, Tom Crean.
And now Jim is going to come to every Michigan home game against Indiana and root like crazy for us.
Tom Crean will land on his feet. Hopefully, at some place that Michigan does not play, so Jim Harbaugh can have undivided loyalties to Michigan basketball.
Between the Harbaugh's and the Dakich's, I've gotten closer to Indiana basketball than I ever really wanted to.
Warning: Link is a Rosenberg article.

It's a good piece, but Rosenberg is still a "piece..."

Out in real life the speed of light is not so blazingly fast. Just about as fast, but not quite.

Seriously ? That is increbile if so. The guy I really like on that sation is Brian Chapman. Their best talent by far.
Chapman is by far the worst personality on that station. The only person in the market worse than him is Jamie Morris.
I don't expect him to be fan-tweeting but tweeting random things during games is kind of strange. He did that during today's game and then something else after we won the B1G Tournament. He still acknowledged them, though.Donovan Peoples-Jones a 2017 Watkins Award finalist & @umichbball in BIG finals! Who's Got it Better Than Us?

I heard that Valenti segment because I wanted to hear what they had to say about the Michigan win. They were actually complimentary of the team. It may have been in an effort to set up the troll. It turned into a Harbaugh topic. If this low hanging fruit didn't exist, they wouldn't have anything to talk about.
This is up there with izzo and John L Smith's relationship. Izzo hated him and didn't support that team at all. He even implied that he could coach the team. I would expect more considering Beilein has had more collegiate coaching success than Harbaugh when you compare the careers even though it's Apple's to oranges.
All Harbaugh topics on that show end with bashing fans as sheep who will blindly follow Harbaugh. On this board, there was a random thread about Harbaugh's butthole. How can you even argue it?
I just checked the twitter links on MGoBlue. I checked hockey, volleyball, softball, wrestling and women's gymnastics and they didn't say anything. Don't worry about Valenti. Coach has to you know, coach football.
I thought it was kind of weird that he hasn't tweeted about them, too, but let's say for (dumb) argument's sake he had a problem with Beilein (which is kind of impossible), he still would give love to the student athletes, so I'm thinking he just hasn't thought to do it.
I follow both of them on Twitter, and Beilein has tweeted about the football team I think once. I believe it's more that they stay out of each other's lanes as a respect thing.
The fact that people are mad that he tweeted about football while a basketball game was going on is the most asinine thing I've ever heard. Headline: Football coach is doing his job, still angers fans.

Stop listening to that guy when he talks about Michigan.
He's a shock jock. He says being a bandwagon fan is the best thing you can do as a sports fan.
Your radio and calls in just fuels their stupidity.
I only listen when they're ripping Ol Brad Ausmus and Jim Caldwell after the shit hits the fan because I need a laugh during the doldrums of offseason. Immediately turn it off when he talks about Michigan.
doesn't quite surprise me. Real 50-year-old men don't fear rattlesnakes,
they can be pretty scary. saved my mgobride's life once with one of those bad boys.

back to the house. she had taken off as i had opened up a gate. she was running up a trail and she didn't realize that she was running right at a 6'-8' rattler across the trail. largest one i'd ever seen. i yelled at her to stop but she thought it was me trying to stop the 'race'. i then, for my one and only time in the near quarter century i have known my beloved mgobride, raised my voice at her and swore. stopped her in her tracks. most likely saved her life.
May I ask where you live? Like you say, that's a damn large rattler. I've heard, since I was a kid there were rattlers throughout Michigan, but I've never seen one in a bit more than 64 years. Saw a sliced water mocassin on a tee on an OK golf course. Looked like anywhere from a 7 to 9 iron, and was bitten by a scorpion down here in Mexico. Guessing you live someplace out west.
Again, great job and way to Man Up.
we were in the sierras at a buddy's place actually north a bit, toward the central part of cal. i have never seen a rattler here in michigan, though i am aware that they exist here. they call them massassauga, link here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massasauga.
and i get no credit for manning up, only maybe for some reasonably quick thinking. i realized what was about to happen and yelled 'stop!' once, in a rather urgent tone. when she didn't slow down that's when i started swearing - and i had never before (or since) sworn at her or raised my voice. the monologue was something like, '[expletive] stop! i'm not [expletive kidding! [expletive] run to me! [expletive] now! right now! run to me!' it was a shock to her and thankfully later we were able to laugh at her thoughts at the time before she realized the danger she was in, along the lines of maybe i wasn't the man she thought i was.
and yeah, that snake was huge. it crossed the entire trail (at least 6') and it wasn't stretched out straight. way bigger than the one i took to a bar down in san diego, in PB....
The fact that you listened to something so stupid, then it bothered you so much that you posted a question about it here - this is what you need to be thinking about.
If Harbaugh wins a national championship at Michigan (without major rules vioaltions) then he can do whatever the hell he wants imo.
I find it amusing how butthurt people get about Harbaugh not being a cheerleader for the bball team. Not in the job description.
JH in IU's locker room during a game against Michigan. I'm sure it's been justified by some but that's out of bounds imo. You simply can't do it, even for your brother-in-law. You're paid millions of dollars to represent UM. Don't be in an opposing team's locker room when they're competing against Michigan, particularly when they're kicking our *ss. No, I'm not a troll. Yes, we all make mistakes. Of course I still love JH but let's be honest about this one.
