This is excellent news for Jim. It's probably related to the extra energy people are saying he has.

All weight loss is good....and mine especially is. I have lost almost 20 pounds in the last 2 years.

My waist is back down to its lowest since the early 2010s, and I have dropped below 220 for the first time since January, 2019. Good motivation to keep going.

FYI, I still have roughly 38 pounds to lose to feel satisfied with my levels.

EDITED to add: I was roughly 238 pounds in September of 2019. I'd like to be around 180.

Good for him!  Although at his playing weight I'm sure he carried a bit more muscle, so that's a bit misleading if you're assuming that means he's at the same body composition or in as good of shape as when he played.  But, I always take a bit of joy when I see CFB coaches (or anyone in any field for that matter) make the time to make their body and their health a priority.  It's a commitment and difficult in a high pressure job that takes a lot of your time.  Kudos coach!

I’m seriously seeing Michigan fans getting more hopeful about the season because Harbaugh lost weight… Only us, man.

Results on the field or not, that’s great for him. Can’t stress enough how important it is to take care of your weight and your overall health.

I started keto right after Christmas, I’ve lost nearly 30 lbs since then, and while I do miss bread and pasta every now and again, I have to say that it’s been a long time since I’ve felt better on a day to day basis than I do now. I don’t say it to gloat, I’m still a long way from the weight goal I have in mind. But weight loss doesn’t have to be a chore or some arduous undertaking. This is the first diet I’ve been on where with the benefits I’ve gained from it, I don’t feel like I’ve truly lost or given up anything. It doesn’t feel like a chore.

Find a system that works for you and then commit like hell to it. Don’t be afraid to give yourself a cheat day every month, too. Give  yourself something to look forward to and work towards. That’s what my wife and I do, and it works great for us.

Sorry, went into a bit of a lecture here, but I think my points still stand.

I’ve heard the Harbaugh has had some health problems over the past 2 years. This looks like a guy who is way healthier and happier than that coach we saw in ‘19 and ‘20. Good for Jim.

I topped out at 263, now down to 192. Definitely feel better. I just never understood really overweight coaches. I mean there is an amazing workout facility literally where you work. Multiple trainers to help you come up with a plan. I know these guys are busy but if nothing else you can watch game film whilst running on the treadmill. You don’t even have to get in your car and fight traffic to get to the gym. It is right outside your office.

First, good for him.  Hell, good for all of us who can stay disciplined (I have slacking for 12 months) but I'm going to say something that will get me negged probably.  Whatever.

It appears he isn't wearing the "skinny" M throwback hat.  I don't know why but it always bugged mt that he wore a different logo and color than the rest of the team.  I know, means nothing, but I like it.  I'm sure I can guess why and hope he keeps the same digs as the rest of the team.

Trying to be hopeful shit will change.  Trying.
