How do you have 1000 points? Damn.
Can someone ban this guy? I mean, he doesn't add anything to board other than shitting on one particular member of the team. I know we're all entitled to our opinions but the way presents his opinion annoys me and if the world doesn't revolve around me who else would it revolve around?
Whenever I see that name I think of Red Auerbach and how much I loathe the Celtics.
Well clearly your sources aren't aware that Shane had 5 stars next to his name.

It's a very flexible formation that gives you a lot of options for a power running game, a mis-direction running game and a play-action passing game. It tends to keep more back in the backfield, meaning you are down some WR's so we'll see how it affects the vertical passing game, but you don't HAVE to keep backs in--you can go 1-back pistol too.
If this is our primary formation I'm all for it.
Plus a FB and TE type left and right. Ironically, they passed out of this a lot.
It is sort of counterintuitive, but if you have one-on-one matchups you can win on the outside, then it makes sense. If you put three backs in the backfield, the defense will usually put 8 or 9 guys in the box to stop the run. Then you have a lot of options with what you can do on the outsde in one-on-one coverage.
This is from 2010 (Harbaugh, Shaw). Stanford lost this game 31-52 to Oregon FWIW
Free Hot Dog Man and Auerbach.
