I don't get the don't redshirt him either.. he already missed basically the whole season with an injury, so it's not like we saved him when we could have used him. Get the medical redshirt and if goes to the NFL after three years good for him, but if he doesn't and wants to play a 4th or 5th year he has that option. A medical redshirt doesn't affect whether he leaves after three years or not.

I mean, nobody owes anyone anything.  But I don't understand this notion that someone who played hard for the school and would get a couple of snaps in his last game in a blowout is somehow a negative.  But sure, let's be petty about a college student because we didn't win a football game.

Coach Harbaugh isn't going to fu*k over his entire team just so one 5th year senior can play QB, unlike some dipshit coach to the South of us has done for two years. It's amazing how much talent they've squandered down there while JT has been flailing around behinds center... Barrett has broke seemingly every big ten QB record there was and he may be one of the worst passers that I've ever seen starting for a big time program. The fact that he was able to break passing records is indicative of the ridiculous amount of talent that the douchebag has amassed down there. I hope they never field a QB who can actually hit receivers more than 9 yards down field. Harbaugh is doing right by naming Peters the clear cut #1.

Barrett has his limitations but overall he's a pretty great player--definitely the guy who gives OSU the best chance to win from what I've seen. I'm sure Haskins or Martell or whoever their next QB is will present challenges of his own, but I'm pretty glad Barrett is finally graduating.

I look forward to having Harbaugh be 3-0 against the SEC, just so we can tell his detractors to each shit when that whole 'can't beat the rivals' thing comes around again.   Which it will.

Now that we’ve heard that Brandon Peters will be the starting QB for Michigan in the Outback Bowl and that Tarik Black will be practicing, but not playing in the Outback Bowl game, there might be some other questions:

  • Will Grant Newsome be practicing in pads during the bowl game practices?
  • Will Ty Isaac, Tyree Kinnel, Mike Onwenu and some other players who’ve been injured be practicing during the bowl practices?
  • Will any of the graduating players like Mo Hurst, Mike McCray, Mason Cole, Ty Isaac, Khalid Hill and Patrick Kugler opt out of playing in the Outback Bowl?
  • How much practice time with the first team will Dylan McCaffrey be getting during the bowl practices?
  • How much practice time as the first team center will Cesar Ruiz be getting during the bowl practices?
