A raccoon that gets into trash and buildings will always go back to doing that, they don’t learn their lesson. So, most of the time, putting it down as humanly as possible is not a callous solution. My father used to trap them, walk the cage to the end of the dock and drop them in with rope, come back an hour or two later... was not my favorite chore.

03/18/2018 - 10:28am	My eleven year old son	Was sitting next to me on the couch... head buried into the pillow when Houston was at the line. He couldn’t watch. When they missed he continued to keep his head buried. Lifted his head just in time to see MAAR pass to Poole for the win! The look on his face was priceless. He then proceeded to run through the house yelling “Go Blue!”, waking his younger siblings. Worth the hour it took to get all of them back to bed.
