Obviously hope this isn’t true, but this is the job I’m the most terrified of.  Team is full of talent albeit completely rudderless the last three seasons.  We waited sooo long for this spot the football team is in, I’m just not ready to let it go yet.   🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

At some point - maybe this year - Harbaugh might give the NFL another go.  There is credible reason to believe that part of him is interested and obviously now he would go out on top.

The thing to keep in mind is that the annual stories invariably have some version of "sources believe that Harbaugh..." These are likely from the same circles that told Schefpaport that he would never leave the NFL because Sarah loves the Bay Area, or linked him to NFL job openings from 2016-2020, etc.

Just like with Nostradamus prophecies, at some point maybe they'll be right but we don't talk nearly enough about the zliion times they were wrong.

Pete Carroll flamed Seahawks ownership yesterday. Pete is going to be coaching next year and I suspect that LA will be the place.

Harbaugh is familiar with the Chargers awful ownership.  Commanders seem like the better fit for JH.

Don't care. He is a michigan legend who has earned his right to chase his superbowl. And we already have replacements in place. He can do whatever the fuck he wants.

This kind of contradicts the other story, the one about him staying at Michigan as long as they'll have him. Unless maybe the University of Michigan top brass don't want him?

Harbaugh is a grown man who as accomplished great things. I find it impossible to believe this is about Warde “liking” him or anyone else in the administration. When he says he wants them to “show the love” it’s obviously in other ways. Not more money for himself. Not hugs. Etc. So what *is* “the love”?  I’m not sure. Money for staff?  Probably. Bigger NIL commitment?  Sure, although I don’t think this means buying players. Support when the usual bad guys come trying to take him down because he’s pushing for players to get a market wage?  Absolutely. There may be other things I can’t think of. But it’s not salary and hugs. It’s “love” in the form of support. If Michigan can’t give him that after an NC, it’s really sad and will damper my enthusiasm post-Harbaugh. I am sure if he leaves the U will spin it as “Jim just wants a Super Bowl.”  But we have heard the same message over and over from multiple sources:  he wants to stay but he wants to be shown “the love”. I don’t think this is about the NFL. He truly loves Michigan but it has to grate on him he was out six games this season for BS reasons. He doesn’t want that to happen again.
