It was posted a couple of days ago when it was dismissed as nothing because the source was in a private blog post.  Now however its been picked up in national news so it should be reposted.

Day’s response to Harbaugh’s accusation of cheating was a non answer which is an admission of guilt. Too bad Harbaugh didn’t follow up with “so you’re admitting you need to cheat.”

Apparently everyone saw the posts that the moms deleted and now we can never talk about it again.

Per the "sticky's", the original thread on this exchange was nuked due to some confusion on what exactly was said on the call, vs what Day later told the team. Curious to see if this thread will be removed as well?

I love the passion on both sides... specifically JH. I'm certainly not a fan of his, but this story sounds like Jim Harbaugh circa 2015, when he had some fire in his voice.

Either way.. great for the rivalry... fingers crossed The Game will be played this year!

Already seen this story like 3 times, but didn't comment before, so... I wish Harbaugh would shut the fuck up with this kinda crap.

Every year some players want to run their mouths about Ohio State and every year they look like a joke in national media when these stories get reported right before they get their shit ruined yet again. Guess this is where they get it.

Yeah. They are the ones playing and also the ones losing the game.

In any other context everybody here would agree that running your mouth only to repeatedly get smacked in the mouth makes you look like an idiot, but for some reason when it comes to Michigan football y'all think adding insult to injury is a good thing.

Nope haven't noticed...

Also haven't notice Harbaugh guaranteeing wins as a coach either. So maybe that's the problem..he need to do what he did as a player and therefore this beef w Day is a good thing.

How many hits have you taken for the team? Coach earned his the hard way...and I have zero doubt that it means more to him than it does to you.

Trying to police what other programs do is an exercise in futility.  Just accept that college football is a cesspool and the NCAA, B1G, etc don't give a shit.

Harbaugh and our program playing by the rules and doing the student-athlete model will lead to the same results on the field.  Harbaugh's coaching is not the problem - the program's decision to continue playing school while others go full football factory is where the divergence in program success begins.

I'm not advocating one model or the other for UM, but to suggest that these two institutions are recruiting and coaching and "schooling" by the same rules is intellectually dishonest. Harbaugh is not a perfect tactician, nor are his coaching decisions above reproach, but let's not pretend we are comparing apples to apples here.

Is the ESPN article the first source from a (somewhat) reputable news outlet? Either way, I'd rather Harbaugh handle it this way instead of snitching when Day's not looking (ie. Franklin).

It's been mentioned on the board and removed a few times. It sounds like the mods question the source, but the incident is being reported as fact by ESPN, Eleven Warriors, and a handful of sites (which I realize doesn't mean much to this audience).

If true - which by all accounts it seems to be - this is a bad look for Harbaugh. If there's an actual photo of Washington (OSU Coach) running players through drills, then surface the photo. If you're not willing to do that, then don't say a word. By raising the concern in a conference calls with dozens of other coaches and administrators and offering no actual evidence, it comes across as petty and childish.

I really wish we'd focus on ourselves at this point and not the team in Ohio. Nothing good comes from poking that bear, especially after our performances over the past two decades (and past two years, in particular).
