I plan on deep frying tomorrow's turkey. Yes, we do a couple dinners here.

Hopefully, however, I don't experience cooking my turkey during the ignition sequence of a rocket - I've done this a few times and haven't had a mishap yet, so here's to hoping.

Happy Thanksgiving MGoPeeps!!  I'm watching Dog Hotel with the 5 yr old this morning, becuase he woke up WAAAYYYYYY to early.  But it's fun just sitting with the kid instead of going to work today.  Hope everyone has a great day with family!  And Go LIONS!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Thanksgiving is usually my favorite holiday, but I've been sick this week and probably won't be able to imbibe fermented beverages. Furthermore, my new dog is going to be there (at my parents') and I'm probably going to worry about her the entire time. I'm really looking forward to the meal tonight!

Thanksgiving culture clash:  My wife and I are watching the Macy's Parade while our kids totally ignore it with their heads buried in electronics.  

When I was a kid, it was one of the highlights of the whole Holiday season.  Today, I have to force my kids to watch like 10 minutes of it. 

What Holiday traditions are they going to pass on to their kids . . . archived internet links to "Dance Moms"?

Happy Thanksgiving! The turkey, it's gonna be YUGE, believe me. We're gonna eat so much turkey, that we're gonna get sick of eating turkey. Crooked grandma forgot the stuffing, not nice, very mean. Sweet potato pie? Overrated, very bad. I'll tell you, once we start winning, we are going to deport those native Americans. Very bad.

A buddy who is a Missouri Grad wished me luck for the big game.  I told him it was nice to be relevant again.  He promised to let me know when it happens again for him.  I am thankful to not be a fan of Missouri. Oh, thankful for my family too.
