There are more dogs in Heaven than people.

...link says it all. POSBANG!!!
There was a thread a few days ago about dog breeds. From what I've seen over the last couple of years, German Shepherds have become much more popular than they had been. Among fans of the breed, one of the nicknames is German Shedder, and it's accurate.
We've had three dogs: a Shepherd/Husky/Beagle mix; a purebred Chocolate Lab, and now our Lab/Shepherd mix. The first one shed like crazy, all year. Our Lab shed too, but it was mainly twice a year and easy to stay on top of.
Our current guy sheds constantly all year long, and there's no doubt it's the Shepherd in him. This is what I got off him in just one brushing last night. If I brushed him today, I'd get the same amount. It seems to never stop.
Shepherds are great dogs, but if you don't like dealing with dog hair, you might want to consider a different breed, even if it's a mutt like ours.
Nice pile o' hair!
I feel your pain with the shedding. I have had a Golden and a lab, both of which were prolific shedders. But they don't hold a candle to my current group - a rough coat collie (think Lassie), and a Great Pyrenees. They're both blowing coat like a barn fan, too. Add to that a few cats that are shedding machines. My house has hairballs floating around 20 minutes after vacuuming - literally!
We’ve started giving our hairballs names.
Finally somebody in A2 with more "Creeping Charlie" in their lawn than me. What do you feed yours with Don? Plus I thought the standard object for perspective was the beer can /bottle your drinking- - there are different size soccer balls after all.
Much of our lawn is goddamn Creeping Charlie and very little actual grass. My wife doesn't want to use any herbicides so I'm stuck.
Speaking of beer: the furry object at the right in the pic below is a bottle opener given to me by our former next door neighbors who moved to Australia. You'll notice the top of the opener is in the shape of the continent.
The furry part on the bottom? It's supposedly made from a kangaroo scrotum.
Always thought you were a baller...now confirmed
I just vomited upon seeing that picture.
I want one ... or two, as the case may be.
That is a fur-ball a cat could even be proud of!
TGIF time for some county fairs and dreaming of UM football
My last Friday of employment before going back to school for the next year. WOOHOO NO ACCOUNTABILITY TO ANYONE BUT MEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Living off Sallie Mae? Watch out!
Nope, been working abroad for the last three years and I'll be studying in the UK. Those two factors mean I can afford to get a master's without taking out a loan.
Working from home again today, the second time this week! Unfortunately, I actually have work that I need to get done. Booo!!! Working from home is supposed to be 'working' from home... WTF is this actual work crap!!
POSBANG for an early day? POSBANG FOR AN EARLY DAY!!!!!!!
Me too, VaBlue. Today is the deadline to get my 1st pass of the department budget submitted and the process could not be more tedious if I made things up. And for all of the work I'm putting in, most of my requests are likely to be ignored and funding will be slashed once again.
Hanging in there but can't wait for this to be done!
Go Blue...I could use some positive vibes this weekend.
Happy 4th (week) of July. Enjoy Summer while it lasts! Go Blue. Bang me.
2pm at work...ope gonna sneak right out of here.
2 would be normal time for me, I'm trying to be out of here about 12:30-1! I hate my schedule.
I come in around 6:45-7. I also don't get the novelty of using kids as an excuse to get out early. I work with a bunch of fossils. I'm the youngest at 27.
Going to Mackinac Island with the family, gonna get some fudge and fresh air! Let the upvoting begin!!!
That air is only fresh if you're not following too close to any of the horse-drawn carts.
Go see Once Upon a Time in Hollywood if you like Tarantino films. There's a lot of dialogue and it's a slower burn but it's really good, the third act is simply amazing. The cast is great but Brad Pitt steals the show. Lots of humor mixed in as well. Of his 9 films, I'd personally rank this somewhere in the middle/upper third with Inglorious Basterds being my favorite.
Should be a nice quiet, slow, rainy to keep the temps down kind of a weekend down here in Florida - just the way I like it.
Happy Friday!
Go Blue!!!
Happy Friday fellow Bloggers!!! Only 5 months till Christmas!
Is it 8/31/19 yet????? Go Blue! Bang away!
First day I drive my "new" beater truck to work. Hours of searching FB marketplace and Craig's list and now I just hope it starts and I beat the plumber to the work site.
Happy Friday everyone! Sneaking out early for some bbq and my sons 6th birthday! Bang away!
Go Blue!!
Sick of the heat, but know I'll be sick of the cold in 6 months so...
Ready for the weekend and most importantly, ready for some MICHIGAN FOOTBALL!
BANG BANG!
Everybody try and stay cool...
Happy Friday Everyone. Taking my kid to Hocking Hills for hiking this weekend. Excited, but first time going without the dog.
