Hang The Damn Banner

Submitted by Cali Citrus Man on

Michigan has been in a string of unlucky events.  There comes a point when justice must be done.

We legitimately won the 2013 NCAA basketball national title!  Hang the damn banner!  Enough of Michigan being kicked around by corrupt institutions.  National champs baby!

Sorry , unless we won the game we shouldnt hang a banner.

Louisville cheated and should not have been there .  Michigan could have beat another team won the Championship, but they didnt .

I think it looks better if it says Louisville vacated the championship. Then people will know Louisvilles shame

We lost on the court. It's not like they were proven of having players use PEDs or had some wringer who played professionally overseas show up and play. The game was played and we lost. Louisville should keep their Championship banner up, and we need to Hang the Fab 5 banners. Death to the NCAA

In the Tour de France, no one was awarded Lance Amstrong's titles.  Different sports do it differently.

The NCAA set the precedent already with USC football.  It won't recognize us and that's OK - we still had an awesome year.  This whole debate seems to devalue what our 2013 team accomplished, like only the national title matters.  Winning five consecutive NCAA tourney games is fantastic as it is.

I've never understood why the #2 team in the NCAA doesn't become the #1 team when it's proven that the old #1 team cheated. If cheating didn't give you some sort of advantage on the court/field, then teams wouldn't do it.

Keep the banners down. We cheated.

Give us a national championship for Beilein. Louisville cheated.

And so it begins. Loser mentality born of unrequited expectations searching for some relief. This is the most little brother perspective I've seen around here in a while.
