Ok boys and girls…it’s the first away game of the season!!

Prediction time…what’s your score prediction and any other interesting tidbits you think will happen tomorrow??

45-0 Michigan

27-13. Very frustratingly close first half, probably 10-7 or 13-7 at the half, Nebraska’s defense makes a few big stops when Michigan gets very predictable on third down. Michigan let’s one big bust go for a score, tightens up after, and Michigan slowly pulls away in the second half.

Michigan hasn’t covered a spread yet against worse teams. I’m not betting they do it tomorrow on the road against a team with nothing to lose and desperate for it’s biggest win in maybe two decades.

Last week I said

34-10 Michigan, but it’s 14-7 at halftime and  *chicken little intensifies*

and that ended up being pretty accurate

So this week let’s go with 35-14 Michigan where a 1st Qtr turnover makes some butts clench but ultimately we dominate in the 3rd Qtr en route to garbage time

Perkis is right on here. I'll go 26-13 just to have a different score. But the rationale is basically what I am thinking.

FTR, I am once again taking "opponent plus points" in the first half.

38 - 10. First half is a little uncomfortable,  but the wheels fall off for Nebraska in the Second Half. Corum and the run game continue to round into form while Mccarthy has another solid outing on limited passes. The Defense gets chewed up a bit early on some annoying option plays, but dominates and forces multiple turnovers.

The big question in my mind is will the 90 deg plus temps slow the game down. The wind will be blowing from south to north at 20-30 mph. Punting into the wind will really shorten the distance while really lengthen the down wind attempts. FG attempts will also be tricky. Those into the wind will be difficult past 30 yds while going for it 50 yds out with the wind is doable.

Anyway, 30-10, Michigan. Passing: 150-180 yds. Rushing 120-150 yds will be OK with me. No turnovers.

Let's get out of there healthy.

Michigan wins a 22-16  sludge fest. Neb scores a garbage time TD and maybe even a FG at the gun to annoy everyone, everywhere.

I'm having more wine. Cheers.

Impressive. Wolverine in S. C. almost nailed it. Backups gave up another garbage TD. Edwards did not get into the End Zone.

I went 30-10 so they beat my expectations.
