PSU is hitting bombs and penetrating. Hunter is MIA. Only one playing is Jett but he gets shit on bc his defense is weaker than his offense. 

Juwan was supposed to be the big man whisperer and his star big man is completely checked out. 

 I will continue to say that Juwan is probably a really good recruiter and a good leader. His strategy leaves a lot to be desired

Juwan’s a mess. His entire offense and his sets have been scouted and figured out. He hasn’t adjusted to that one bit. 
 

Martelli has to go. He offers us nothing. His matchup zone is really bad. Plus need a recruiter in that spot. 
 

Not ready to give up on other two assistants because I think they are really good assistants but something has to be figured out on what type of guards are you recruiting.

Defense is all about collective effort, desire & grit. The fact that this team consistently fails to play any is reflective that it's not prioritized by the coaching staff. Pair that with a lack of team shotmaking on offense and you've got a big problem on your hands. Perhaps let Tschetter and Reed play more in 2H, at least they play hard! 

There's not a hell of a lot you can say when team goes 9/17 on three point shots! We don't have many fouls, only a couple of turnovers, and are playing with energy. The offense could have been a tad more efficient. But, PSU put up damn near half a hundred, and those couple of friendly rolls on consecutive 3 pointers really provided momentum. Luck isn't with us today.

Shit close outs, hands down, not in defensive stances, unaware of back door cuts, poor boxing out, and lack of physical play. Those are just of few of the issues I see most with this team. Just no DOGS! Some real soft shit out there. I wanna believe in Juwan but this is all on him. His team. 

I don’t waste my time on this team anymore and haven’t since they lost to Central. It’s just awful basketball. 

Absolutely embarrassing effort defensively today.

Juwan is not a good coach, he just isn't, his strategies, rotations, recruiting is all incoherent. 

Really frustrating after having such a tactician in Beilein for over a decade.

This is just the Big Ten this year. Whatever you want to say about Juwan's coaching, you could say about every coach in the Big Ten who isn't Matt Painter. PSU smacked Illinois and IU like this. 

Well, at least we have some league championships football yet today. I can nap for two hours and be ready for some real competition. 

Meanwhile the Purdue 7footer who was a giraffe on skates his first year is playing like the Wooden award winner he'll likely earn, 2-3 years in.

Poor closeout again

I hate it when I see the game on and decide to tune in rather than go do something productive/enjoyable. Not being a fair weather fan, now I'm committed to watching this debacle, because I can't bring myself to turn it off.

I stuck with the hockey game last night, so who knows?

Granted PSU is getting/making everything and that's tough to counter, but a 18-2 run w/o their leading scorer on the floor is just.......mental. This team can play super solid for 10-20 minutes at a time, then turn and play dismally for the next 15-30 and just walk thru the motions. 

In my fondest dreams, the program removes all ego from the equation and brings back Beilein as co-HC and blend the best of his system coaching with Howard's recruiting and ___________, then somehow pay Yaklich to come back for a few years as a type of Defensive Coordinator. Would be an almost guaranteed Elite 8 every year and some serious NC potential.

Coach like it’s an NBA game and that’s what you get. No defense, isolation on offense, shit communication and shit rotations. Juwan needs to Cabbage Patch his ass on out of town.
