Unsurprising. Fox got the better half of the deal. It's not my favorite but it's fine, because the games are on tv.

And FWIW Fox does a good job making a big deal of the games, and good for them.

I was planning to attend the game in EL... not sure if I wanna be in that concrete parking structure if it's a night game...

The games could be on QVC for all I care, as long as we take home W's

Have sunk so low that we find Fox is OK for their broadcast of our games. I will be muting the sound and listening to 950 a.m.

FOX supposedly has the #1 and #3 picks - ABC/ESPN #2 and #4.

Michigan/OSU going #1 makes sense.  But it seems that FOX must have taken Michigan/MSU over at least two of the OSU/PSU, Wisconsin/Michigan and PSU/Michigan games (those games also figuring to be highly appealing to TV)?

Notre Dame @ Northwestern might be the best OOC game that's a part of the B1G package.  Which doesn't say much about the OOC games B1G teams are hosting in 2018.  But that could also be part of the formula above.

he's up the middle..he's at the 50.. he's at the 40... he's at the 30.. "We now break in to the broadcast to inform you that we forgot to run an add at the last break, so to make up for it we are tuning you in for this 20 minute infomercial brought to you by Viagra...""

Anyone know how this will affect watching the game in Europe? I'll be in Switzerland during the Ohio State game and already anxious about how I'm going to be able to watch it.

Fox put the ALCS (Yankees/Astros Game 6) on FS1 at night --- then put a rather bad college football game (Kansas @ TCU, the one where Kansas had about 15 yards total offense) on Fox OTA Prime Time.

Fox OTA had their better games at 12 PM (Maryland @ Wisconsin) and 4 PM (Oklahoma @ K-State) that weekend.

That Kansas @ TCU game would be the worst ever TV rating for a prime-time college football game on an OTA network.

So, I could definitely see Fox doing the same thing this year.  They like having baseball on FS1 because it drives ratings for that network.  If they want to avoid cannibalizing their FS1 baseball viewership, that would mean Michigan @ MSU during the day.

The Game should ALWAYS be on ABC at noon. I honestly don't mind the MSU game being on Fox at least we'll get to see Wisky and PSU on ESPN/ABC. ESPN is miles ahead of FOX in terms of production and build up.. But too bad they are busy drooling over Nick Saban and the SEC..

I usually mute the tv and sync up the radio with live play. Nothing better than watching it on tv and still getting to hear Brandstatter and Dierdorf call the game.

the game's are televised makes no difference to me. I watch the action with the mute on. I know enough about the game not to be bothered  by someone's banter. It works for me.

It matters to me. announcing is a huge part of the experience. I expect to learn things I don't know. I rarely do. I heard the word shoelace way way too many times. lmao. this blog ruins commentary for us hardcore fans. the crowd is fundernental to viewing as well IMO
