I have to believe that the committee looks at the actually wins and not just the number against the top 100 right?
Other bubble teams have more vs the top 100, but a win against a top 25 team should be worth two vs teams in the 75-100 range.
I really hope we don't get screwed out of the dance after the big win today. That would be horrible.
Although I guess we still control our own destiny so let's beat Purdue tomorrow and leave no doubt.

North Coast Old 38 and Oysters. Will be seeing the new Cloverfield movie in a few hours. Celebrating Friday, the win, some body fat/weightloss and lots of good work done this week. Go Blue and happy weekend everyone.

As I am still waiting for the clearance to drink again, which would mean they have taken me off these silly medications (well, OK, not so silly), I have been enjoying a St. Julian's Blueberry Pomegranate Sparkling Juice. It's not wine, of course, but it is the closest I can get for the moment. On the upside, there are a fai number of bottles which have had time to age a bit more as I wait for this appointment on the 28th, when I should hopefully get the OK.

Weird, another basketball thread where the OP can't spell our player's name correctly. At least it's implied in a positive way! Though just waiting for the keyboard warriors to show up and give us expert analysis on how Caris "Lavert" couldn't hit that shot.

RPI is killing us. The fact that VCU seems to be a consensus "avoid Dayton" while Michigan is first four out is mind blowing. I guess if you only blindly look at RPI that's what you conclude but they lost 6! non conference games and won none of any importance. By far their best win is at St. Joes (#47 kenpom) and they have two bad bad losses. It's just not even comparable.

Monmouth, St. Marys, Vanderbilt, there's no way you can compare us to them head to head and say we shouldn't get in.

From Florida saying Chicago should burn.  That's hilarious.  Florida is the "Donald Trump Pathetic Wang" of America.

Hmm, glad you could figure that out from me saying, "yep" and "that Chicago is a shit show". Have a good evening and maybe lay off the drinks before you make yourself look even more like a fool.

as in Chicago in '68, "The whole world is watching!  The whole world is watching! The whole world is watching!..."

Sometimes a little "student activism" goes a long way towards righting a wrong, or at very least, towards blowing the horn on injustice and /or bigotry.

Back when I was in high school, many college campuses were erupting in protest over the war in Vietnam, over Civil Rights, and against segregation (among other things).   Student protesters, whether members or not of such groups as The Weathermen or SDS or Black Panthers (or other various protest groups)  effected change through the protest movement.   By the time I went off to college in '75, those protests had run their course, the war in 'Nam was over, and some progress had been made against segregation and towards progress in civil rights-related issues.   Those awful protesters that my own parents complained about?  They might not have gone about demanding change through standard, socially-acceptable ways, but they did contribute towards needed change/progress.

In a way it's funny seeing my generation (sorry, Pete and Roger!) now being on the other end of the stick.   And right now on FoxNews, their "talking heads" are complaining about infringement on their own right to free speech. and those awful lawless protestors.  Jeez...

The Weathermen and some others were totalitarian, not anything good.  They were only  good in the mindless mythology of certain people of that time.  Will you ever wake up. Advance apology.  Had 1 1/2 margaritas at Maria's in Santa Fe.  Should have had one more to ignore this guy.  Just can't walk away, probably bec at one time I shared this view.
