But that's only because Anderson's called me and told me they are no longer going to be carrying Theakston's Old Peculier. And I can't get it in Toledo either. Not sure what I'm going to be able to do in the future. New Belgium's 1554 is the only thing close I've found so far, but it's a lager instead of an ale. Aargh.

I guess I'm going to have to start drinking more Founder's

Has anyone tried this planet series that Bell's is doing? Looks good, but I'm a little hesitant to buy a whole six pack of Uranus unless someone can vouch for its quality.

With my pizza and then on to other goodies. Just me, the dog, and a brand new 65" 4k UHD TV at home tonight. Time for some beer and Breaking Bad steaming at 4k from Netflix. The TV is my Harbaugh equipment upgrade for this season. Last nights NBA final game looked awesome on the new TV. Can't wait for Sept. 3.

I am not sure how he got his hands on this, but the guy I normally buy the drinks from found a case of Duche de Longueville cider and actually gave me a bottle to try when I stopped on the way home - no charge this time around (I am a regular, which may not be the best sign). This is some pretty good hard cider, folks.

Nelson. My favorite IPA--except Green Flash bought Alpine, and is brewing some of the Nelson, so it is not as flawless. Green Flash is great, and Alpine needed to brew more, but the control is less and variation is more..so we'll see how this goes. Started out with Mosaic from Green Flash, which is a session IPA, and super flavorful at 4.5%..perfect for finishing paperwork on a Friday afternoon.

Nelson! My last two posts have been about Nelson, but that is time well spent. Best IPA ever
Made. It's not even close. Green Flash has been brewing Nelson in kegs (the only way we see it in NorCal) since 2013. So needless to say I am not concerned with quality control. Duet and Hippy Birthday definitely taste different, but Nelson is as delicious as ever.

I feel like these threads are the only ones I comment in. Oh well, I have Stone's Ruination 2.0 in my glass right now, not sure what to get after that.

Keeping it class with some Admiral Nelson and coke. Drank my last KBS a few nights ago while grilling. Wasn't sure if I'd really be that into it but it's definitely a solid beer.
