Florida QB Suspicious that Michigan Players are using PEDs

Submitted by SkyPanther on

It had to come.

With the sudden impact that new S&C coach Ben Herbert, and new nutritionist/Performance Dietitian Abigail O'Conner, have had on the players, there's suspicions that Michigan players are using steroids, growth hormone, etc.

Florida QB, Luke Del Rio, thinks Michigan players are in danger of testing positive for PEDs:

You can even see a difference in kicker Quinn Nordin, though he's only gained 6 pounds:

Huge transformations in a short period of time are possible. Bradley Cooper gained 39 pounds in just over 2 months for the movie, "American Sniper". He wanted to make it a point to not use PED's:

‘He was determined to do it naturally, he didn’t want to use any hormones or steroids or anything. He was just very systematic about it and took his trainer with him wherever he went.’

The only way to put 35-40 pounds on Cooper was to push him to the point of breaking. Cooper had to follow the carefully designed workout plan using a precise progression model.

Bradley Cooper started the program at 186 pounds and ended at 225 with roughly the same percent body fat. By the end of the program, he was performing rack pulls with 425 pounds for 10 reps.

Ben Herbert and Abigail O'Conner have had 7 months.

It's just sad we live in such a fake world. People can say whatever they want as it is factual.

Keep fishing Flordia. Somethings gotta change the to stop this garbage.

Hopefully you fare better than we did.

Lol.

Rich. They got busted so others must be cheating rather than following protocols and performing hard work.

they clearly have gained size and muscle but it doesn't look out of place, lighting and a tanning filter helps. Quality gains. I have been in the Industry (personal training) and this is commonplace with hard work and the right nutrition

Seriously with the right lighting and angle my dong looks huge.  However, in reality that’s not the case.  These guys went from off season bulking up to getting in shape for football.   Nothing to see here, move along Florida nerd.

Reschke anyone?

Hell, probably half of college football, power 5 D1 is “pushing the envelope” with some kind of ”performance enhancing” supplement.

All I’m saying is, at least based on from all the other top programs I’ve seen....”we ain’t doing nothing they ain’t....”.....

Look around.

Can skypanther and MichiganFan1984 be banned, please. Preferably before the season starts. I don’t want to deal with their shit when the season starts.

I'm sure if you drug-tested a bunch of guys on any given roster, a number of them would be popped for some PED.  I guess Del Rio is just jealous because whatever stuff Michigan players might be on will actually help them win games, something him and his compatriots apparently missed on.

Joke or not, these type of results are not that difficult to achieve on a relatively short timeline with zero cheating. Check out Nick Shaw and Renaissance Periodization. They have this stuff down to a literal science. It doesn't hurt that Shaw is also a Michigan grad.

first thing that crossed my mind when I first saw the before and afters. I'm very confident the players won't test positive, but I'm very nervous about injury potential. Something to keep in mind, and track of.

For god’s sake, this isn’t that complicated.  Want to make a guy look bigger?

Have him relaxed in the “before” pic but flexing in the “after.”

Take the “before” pic from slightly farther away than the “after” pic.

Change the skin tone from the “before” pic to the “after” pic (there’s a reason body builders use bronzer at competitions).

Photoshop to add some shading, making muscles look more prounounced.

Boom, you suddenly have a team full of hulks.

Honestly I don't even care as long as they don't get caught.

With that being said I wasn't that impressed by the "transformations." Pump + flexing + lighting + photo editing goes a long way.

I mean, a lot of the difference we see in these photos are camera/process tricks. More shading and flexing and a different stance. In many cases the head looks bigger because they are obviously closer to the camera. So the body looks bigger, too.
