First look at the #0 jersey in practice

@UMichFootball shared a montage of one of their padless practices yesterday and in it we catch a glimpse of the #0 jersey.

Both Andre Seldon and Giles Jackson (pictured) are the first #0s in Michigan Football history as #0 was legalized during the offseason by the NCAA for football.

All over the country you see usually the better players on teams wearing 0. Ive even seen #0 on a QB at UTSA.

For this very reason I said from Day 1, 0 shouldn't be allowed at Michigan.

I'm not one of those earn #1 people, but you could like at 10, 20, etc. and see 0 wasn't going to work.

It's also only a matter of time before it's a sacred number at OSU like #7 at LSU. I'd put money on that.

...as for the shield, more B1G stuff. There's a picture of Peyton Ramsey at NW and his lower shield was completely fogged up.

Giles looks jacked compared to last year.  All these extra workouts may be great for the young guys on the team.

Stay positive and test negative !

Looking good.

I wonder how many work hours the NCAA spent on banning the "0," and then spent unbanning it. And we think some posts here are a waste of time.

It seems weird that 0 was ever against the rules as a number. Player numerals are used for identification, not counting or arithmetic, so why not use 0? It's as distinct and identifiable as any other single digit.
