Because he played here once upon a time, is a “MiChiGaN MaN” and represents the program trying relive 1985. If his name was Tom Smith people would’ve lost their minds years ago. Even now, the AD and Sam and the rest of the slappies will run interference because it’s easier to do that than admit the Savior is a total fraud.

The only way they "fire" Harbaugh is if Al Glickman, Stephen Ross and the other big donors pa g the buyout and force Manuel's hand.
