Harbaugh mentioned all those…

Harbaugh mentioned all those guys (including Roman) in his presser saying that he doesn’t expect them to be long term and that the bye week is big for getting them back.

At this point it’s not…

At this point it’s not overreacting. Great guy, loves Michigan, really brings in and molds great young men. Sorry tho he’s not what we need at head coach. It is what is...

LET’S FUCKING GO!!!

LET’S FUCKING GO!!! (Apologize for swearing)

Call me a crazy weird…

Call me a crazy weird optimist, but the best thing that can happy to us is we come back and win this game (not because of the obvious reasons).  This team needed a gut check. Yes, we all overreacted to week 1 against a team (Minnesota) that looks less than spectacular... However, this team was probably feeling themselves to much after last week. At the end of the day we have more talent than MSU even if it feels like the apocalypse rn. We’re down 4, and it might seem like doomsday after recent history... But shit I feel like we can outscore MSU by 4 in the second half. Color me crazy.

Sorry, ember didn’t work. Basically, the staff was asked what they thought, and they’re unsure.

A Michigan student has the virus. He/She lives at the new Vic Village appt. complex on south university. I only mention that because the management team at the appt. has been sending emails regarding the situation to the other residents. A friend sent a picture of a cleaning crew in hazmat suits cleaning the complex, so they’re definitely taking it seriously.

LET’S GO!!!

LET’S GO!!!

Was anyone actually worried?…

Was anyone actually worried? Michigan doesn’t lose to Rutgers. It’s simple math. /S

Almost in the double bonus…

Almost in the double bonus as well. That’ll be huge down the stretch with the way we’ve been shooting FTs today.

Jon Teske is the most…

Jon Teske is the most overrated one-on-one post defender in the country

Exactly. I would assume…

Exactly. I would assume based of the larger sample size they would still give that shot even with a few falling to start the game, but it’s definitely a shot that will be available early and often.  MSU switched on every screen last year it seemed like, and unfortunately for Simpson his size doesn’t allow him to attack big men on the drive well in that scenario.

Completely reasonable imo…

Completely reasonable imo. It might seem weird, but I think Simpson needs to be aggressive at shooting the 3 plays under on the pick and rolls.  I think he’s definitely improved to the point where if given space, simply taking that shot (even if only making 1/3) will really open the passing lanes for our offense.

I’m definitely more nervous…

I’m definitely more nervous than a few weeks back. MSU is rounding into form right now.  Really think Teske’s size advantage in the post could be a real trump card on offense.

I’ll take the one who can…

Whichever one can hit a pull up jumper because our offense is sorely lacking that from the PG position...

But in all honestly I love Zavier. It’s just objectively true his lack of a jumper can be crippling to our offense at times.  His turnovers don’t worry me as much. I attribute a lot of that to the new offense.  Zavier’s last two years show he’s not turnover prone, and I assume he’ll correct that as the season progresses.

Maryland has had an issue…

Maryland has had an issue showing up in the 1st half regardless of where they play. Certainly not a good trend, but they’ve been winning these games, and they’re best has looked as good as anyone in the country.

While he was undoubtedly a great kicker, I would personally exclude Gibbons from the list for obvious reasons.

Was literally just sharing this same sentiment with my friends.  Cassius was always that one player I struggled to root against, and now even more so.

JPC, MineralKing, and the rest of their lot.

He’s played very well thus…

He’s played very well thus far, but his 4 turnovers a game are an important mention.  He’s made some costly turnovers this year in big moments as has the whole team.  Him and Rose have been catalysts, but also infuriating at times with ball security.  I’m sure a lot of that is a product of being tired from being asked to play nearly 40 min. a game due to injuries and an unfamiliar expanded role, but the Pistons and Dre need to get that squared out.

No problem for the post, but…

No problem for the post, but I didn’t make the video. Should’ve mentioned that in the post.

Air Force doesn’t run the triple option anymore, so that’s better.

I’ve never been so damn cold at a sporting event. Poncho only did so much. My right leg was violently shaking. Alas, I wouldn’t change anything.

Assuming Paye and Ruiz stay…

Assuming Paye and Ruiz stay...  I think our defense will be more talented as a whole, especially in the front four. The loss of Levert will be very tough, but Zordich gets those guys ready. I think replacing Metellus is plausible, and we don’t know anything about the vipers after Hudson, so that’ll be interesting. On offense it’ll be tough.  Only silver lining I can think of is a second year in Gattis system should pay off.  Replacing a starting QB is always tough especially with 3 new OL starters.  We should be better at RB, and we still will have solid WR and TE talent.  Hopefully the 2019 OL class lives up to the hype next year, and Dylan/Joe don’t have much growing pains...

Absolutely absurd that…

Absolutely absurd that Clemson jumped OSU. Anyone using an unbiased perspective knows that.  Good thing these media members don’t vote in CFP rankings... Although the CFP rankings often mirror the other polls. Based strictly on performance this season I’d rank them

1) LSU

2a) Alabama

2b) OSU

4) Oklahoma

5) Wisconsin

We always believed in Shea,…

We always believed in Shea, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!!!

Man Patterson just looks so…

Man Patterson just looks so mentally shook out there. If the coaching staff is adamant on keeping him as QB1 they have to give him a chance to air it out and give him some confidence before PSU.  Really feel bad for him.

Shea obviously wasn’t great…

Shea obviously wasn’t great today, but you’re clearly blaming all of our offensive struggles on him and you look like an idiot.  Our offensive line was atrocious most of the game, and the play calling didn’t do anyone any favors...

BTW this is why our fan base is toxic. It’s one thing to complain after a loss like Wisco or Army, but Michigan just beat 14th ranked Iowa. Take your insufferable takes elsewhere for now.

Slightly off topic from the…

Slightly off topic from the article (which is a joke), but I always laugh when people try to roast Michigan players for their selected major.  First, if they knew anything about Harbaugh, he doesn’t fear athletes toward any major (unlike how he prior accused Michigan).  Players can choose whatever major they like, but they know their class work comes first, which I’m sure can be a detractor from pursuing many STEM based majors due to the intensity of the work.  Second, the big detractor people like to point at is the number of general studies majors.  I’m not going to sit here and try to argue that it’s the most competitive or difficult major because it’s not, but as a student who didn’t decide on their major (economics) until late, I fell under that category for awhile in my undergraduate studies.  However, I promise it was not for a lack of difficult course work (took multiple computer science and math courses).  Sometimes people try multiple subjects before deciding.  Now that may not apply to our football student athletes (I don’t know), but with the amount of work on their plates, it would not be surprising to me if they weren’t always fully focused on mapping out their career paths outside of football.  I mean let’s be honest, how many regular students graduate knowing exactly where their future plans lie. Anyways... I digress just venting a little lol.

The OP definitely cherry…

The OP definitely cherry picked the numbers as you pointed out, but there is some truth to his statement. With that being said, the one consistency of Harbaugh thus far is beating all opponents not named OSU and MSU at home. Not only beating them, but usually dominating the game (Army and Air Force the only exception).  Our boys are consistently geared up for home games, and I’m not remotely worried about this one.  I see us winning by 10+ points.

Side note: no need to slight the backbone of the American economy (i.e. farmers)... as if being a farmer is some kind of lesser profession...

I don’t know why I’m still…

Looking at the names on that offense in the diagram, it just reiterated how baffling our offense has been. Absolutely shocking to say the least.

It seems apparent that the still stout Harbaugh defenders are the real portion of our fan base lacking knowledge...

When I watched McCaffrey’s…

When I watched McCaffrey’s interview this past week he seemed noticeably frustrated in his answers and body language.  He answered questions maturely and didn’t say anything to insinuate any frustration, but that’s not surprising in a formal setting.  I’m not calling for a QB change at this point by any means, and I don’t think Patterson has played that poorly.  However, I don’t know how often I’ve seen a QB turnover the ball as often as Patterson has the first two games without a backup of McCaffrey’s caliber at least getting a full drive at QB.

Here’s the interview in case anyone missed it.  Draw your own conclusions...

GO PACK GO!!!

GO PACK GO!!!

We're not Alabama or Clemson…

We're not Alabama or Clemson, so the performance Saturday given the number of starters replaced, and those held out for injury should have been expected.  Obviously its nice to see your team look flawless week 1, but if you look through the top 10 most teams didn't dominate their opponent for 4 quarters.  Anyone drawing conclusions from this game is simply grasping for straws at this point imo.  Albeit, the idea of Ben Mason as our starting DT doesn't seem to bode well against high level O-lines, but Don Brown's track record strongly suggests the defense will be fine as the season progresses.  Don't forget what he was able to do with BC's talent level against some pretty good opponents...

I love the positivity mate,…

I love the positivity mate, but if we're still comparing ourselves to the RichRod and Brady Hoke era, I don't think that's what we signed up for...  With that being said I assume most concerns will be answered positively Saturday at noon.  The only concerns I have after that game are the conditions of Dwumfour and DPJ moving forward.

It was refreshing to see…

It was refreshing to see Michigan attack MTSU downfield for the McKeon touchdown one play after Ronnie Bell dropped the wide open touchdown on a downfield shot. Aggressive play calling. With our talent that’s what we’ve been hoping for.
