A few more football details...

RB1 Higdon (clearly the first option); RB2 Evans; RB3 Competition....wide open. Too early to project the WR corps, but Collins will make an immediate impact. Black is probably the best of the group. DPJ is getting coached up.

Spanelis is probably the 6th best OL at the moment. The kicking game belongs to Nordin and no earthly idea who will punt. It should be an improved version of Robbins.

The defense is loaded. Ambry Thomas, Ambry Thomas, Ambrhy Thomas. Did I mention him yet? Watson will play. JKP will be the next best Safety if he doesn't win the job. LB=loaded. Paye and Vilain are perfect examples of why we can push Kemp inside.

If Paye is really up close to 260, could he shift over o SDE and open up the back up WDE for Vilain when he is healthy? I really don't like the idea of Lawrence Marshall in the two-deep.

Keep recruiting these hit CB prospects, man. Exciting to hear that Ambry is making a leap. We'll need him, too--Hill and Long are both juniors this year and I expect at least Hill to jump if he keeps on track. First things first, though: having three stone cold lockdown corners would be fantastic. We're gonna miss Hurst, but I hopeful that the back 7 gains back everything we lose up front.

He's good enough to start. Filiaga, Hudson, and Stueber just need a little more time. Biggest surprise, LB corps. There are so many athletes that can compete for starting roles. Even Bush will be pushed and he was All B1G something.

Defense will be elite or close to it. Offense, average right now. Kicking game C-.

Stueber, Filiaga and Hudson are way better than JBB or Runyan from a physical standpoint. Sad to see their development last year was sub-par. My opinion is we should have burned some redshirts to find and develop the 2018 OTs. Sucks we are stuck with 3* type, below average OTs.

Was hoping the the 4* red-shirt frosh would step-up more quickly to assert themselves. My view is the OL youngsters are getting "pampered". Guys need to f-ing step up quickly or leave the program. The walk-ons seem to be better at this stage.
