I thought it captured the flavor of the movie even though it is a totally different story. It is always interesting with a new series that you don't necessarily know who is going to be a main character and who isn't. They already offed 2 characters that were a surprise. Reminds me of Justified in that sense.

I'm a big fan of Justified. I started watching in season three and have been hooked ever since. This Christmas I finally got sucked into signing up for Amazon Prime and was pleasently suprised to see they carried all of the previous seasons which allowed me to catch up on the first two. They've always done a great job of casting and writing, but the best part of the show is the banter between the characters. I'm pretty pumped to see how the final season plays out. 

To stay on topic though, I'm very excited to get sucked into Fargo. I have family from that area of the country so I was a big fan of the movie. It looks as though they've nailed the casting from the previews. I taped it and am going to catch the first episode tonight.
