Exposed?
Are they naked on the bootleg?
December 19th, 2020 at 7:55 PM ^
It’s not st Patrick’s day yet
December 19th, 2020 at 9:34 PM ^
Mante Te’o girlfriend joke? Every time ND parlays a decent team and weak schedule into a potential playoff berth, they seem to eventually get exposed. Guess Clemson with Trevor is a different team than Clemson without Trevor.
December 19th, 2020 at 5:19 PM ^
How about them Buffalo Bills Fun team to watch.
Also, Bama & Clemson are the 2 best teams it seems, that would be the most interesting final IMO.
December 19th, 2020 at 5:23 PM ^
Clemson gonna run away with this one. Bama probably runs away with that one.
December 19th, 2020 at 5:28 PM ^
If Clemson does blow out ND, I don’t know if ND makes the playoff. Their only good win in an OT win against Clemsons backup QB
December 19th, 2020 at 5:31 PM ^
Weirdly or maybe not so, the 3 missing defensive starters might have been a bigger issue than not having Lawrence that game.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:09 PM ^
Tend to agree with this. It's not like Clemson didn't score in the first game. They have shut down Book & Company in this one.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:13 PM ^
Clemson has one decent win this year, Miami. No other team they've beaten is ranked. If ND can make this close, you can make a case--maybe not a strong one with Clemson's COVID issues--ND should STILL be ranked ahead of Clemson.
ND's schedule may not be great. It is better than Clemson's who, you know, actually lost a game.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:26 PM ^
ND won the first game in 2OT, so it was basically a tie. Unless this game goes to OT (it obviously won't), it should carry more weight. Regulation wins should be worth more in the committee's eyes.
December 19th, 2020 at 7:03 PM ^
How exactly was NDs schedule better than Clemson? Both played in ACC which is hot garbage. Both have a loss now. One is by blowout and one is in OT with some key players missing
December 19th, 2020 at 5:29 PM ^
Notre Dame hasn't experienced this since....
December 19th, 2020 at 5:56 PM ^
Since UM beat ND 45-14 on 10/26/19, UM is 5-6 and ND is 16-0.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:01 PM ^
And ND is a good, not elite team, that has handled this COVID year much better than UM and many other teams. They’ve had a few good upsets in the streak.
They are still nowhere near a healthy Bama or Clemson squad this year. Their program is also nowhere near OSU, although OSU seems to be a bit down this year compared to Bama and Clemson.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:16 PM ^
But none of those games have been against us. 45-14 will remain the last Michigan-ND game until the 2030s. They can chew on that for another dozen years.
December 19th, 2020 at 5:29 PM ^
To hell with Notre Dame. Let's bitch about boycotting a game you're not even going to qualify for.
Ha Ha

To Hell with Notre Dame!
Hope this blow out is enough to get TA&M in the playoffs with ND at home
December 19th, 2020 at 5:30 PM ^
Kelly still worried about fans coming to the cfp? They better not get in if they lose.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:39 PM ^
Notre Dame caught a bad case of the sucks.
December 19th, 2020 at 5:44 PM ^
Watching Clemson is somewhat painful ... it reminds how large a gap exists between the truly elite and pretty much every other program not named 'Alabama'.
December 19th, 2020 at 5:48 PM ^
To hell with Notre Dame.
December 19th, 2020 at 8:30 PM ^
This never gets old!
December 19th, 2020 at 5:57 PM ^
Notre Dame failed the audition. Committee threw their headshot in the trash bin.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:07 PM ^
I miss when uniforms didn't all have 3-5 different patches/logos on the front. Cleaner is better.
Yeah, get off my lawn...
December 19th, 2020 at 6:15 PM ^
No team makes more ridiculous, difficult and 1 handed catches than Clemson over the past 5 years. It’s crazy.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:16 PM ^
I expect Clemson to win and embarrass Ohio State if they get a chance to play one another.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:31 PM ^
Not going to happen. OSU plays the big boys very tough and had they not hit Lawrence last year in dirty fashion then they would have played LSU much closer than Clemson did in the final.
December 19th, 2020 at 7:53 PM ^
One can only hope.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:17 PM ^
How can the replay officials not see that, that is a catch after watching the 3 replays we just watched?
December 19th, 2020 at 6:19 PM ^
Michigan beat Minnesota 49-24 on the road, then lost 49-11 at home to Wisconsin.
So naturally Minnesota is winning against UW.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:34 PM ^
A person posted some weeks ago that Wisconsin has lost a lot of players since they played Michigan. So the Badgers aren't as good anymore.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:26 PM ^
ND is missing the elite athletes. They are coached very well and Kelly does a great job but they simply cannot match teams like Alabama and Clemson, OSU and frankly Texas AM this year.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:27 PM ^
ND getting trucked. If you lose by 30 or more you don't deserve to be in the playoff, but they vote ND in b/c their ND. OSU doesn't deserve it either.
Cincinnati deserves it more based on their record as of this moment.
This is just proving that Bama and Cle.son are better than everyone else. Bama will destroy Florida later.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:33 PM ^
Can’t agree more and Clemson will get their ass whipped by Alabama. The Tide is ridiculous this year with the pro OL
December 19th, 2020 at 8:28 PM ^
Couldn't agree less. Clemson can beat Bama, either way won't be an asswhooping. The win win here is either one of them will decimate Ohio St.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:38 PM ^
Notre Dame not getting in if this score holds. A&M has 1 loss against the best team in the country (Bama) and was more competitive than ND tonight.
A&M will pass ND in the standings and possibly even OSU after their performance today in the B1G championship, even though they were missing 20 players. Also, I think the committee wants to avoid a Bama-A&M (sec) rematch in the semifinal.
Bama is by far the best team this year, then Clemson a half rung below. The rest will get run over.
I predict
1) Bama
2) Clemson
3) A&M
4) OSU
And Bama trucks OSU and Clemson on their way to the title.
December 19th, 2020 at 7:15 PM ^
I can’t imagine a meh A&M that got donkey punched by Bama is going in. Think that might be the official end of the CFB. I honestly think they may bite their tongue and pick Cinci
December 19th, 2020 at 8:26 PM ^
It's a weird year and I think everyone is getting donkey punched by Bama this year. They have an NFL O-line, NFL 1st or 2nd round QB, and 3 NFL WR (2 now with Waddle injured).
I think they smoke everyone including Clemson.
Looking at Notre Dame's schedule and performance today, it makes no sense to put them in - especially given that their biggest victory was against a severely depleted Clemson team that just exposed them.
December 19th, 2020 at 6:38 PM ^
The SEC is the new BIG 12.
December 19th, 2020 at 7:02 PM ^
Benjamin St-Juste with the critical DPI.
December 19th, 2020 at 7:02 PM ^
WTF?? Herbstreit / Fowler saying they still think Notre Dame is in no matter what?
Notre Dame beat a depleted Clemson and is now getting stomped. They would be an embarrassment in the CFP. They do not belong in the CFP.
December 19th, 2020 at 7:03 PM ^
The fact that they are getting curb stomped means that they need to give someone else a chance, even undefeated Cincinnati.
December 19th, 2020 at 7:02 PM ^
Go Clemson. No, I don't like Clemson, I just dislike Notre Dame.
December 19th, 2020 at 7:07 PM ^
It's 34-10. There is no compelling reason whatsoever for Trevor Lawrence to be in the game at this point.
December 19th, 2020 at 7:12 PM ^
Herbie can stop carrying water for ND anytime now.
December 19th, 2020 at 7:15 PM ^
That game's over. I've switched to Minnesota-Wisconsin. Overtime for Paul Bunyan's Ax.
December 19th, 2020 at 7:19 PM ^
This just in: Rose Bowl Announces Boycott of ND and Brian Kelly
December 19th, 2020 at 7:20 PM ^
Fuck Notre Dame going to the playoffs. Their second game with Clemson shows what both teams look like at full strength. One belongs, one clearly does not.
