In Earnest: Coaching candidates

As it appears the should be Harbaughs last year as head coach after the crap show we are presenting I'm interested in people's honest opinions for coaching candidates. For me the first 3 that come to mind are PJ Fleck, Tom Allen, and Bret Vennables (I probably slaughtered the spelling) Not a big fan of Fleck, so personally next. With Allen's young staff with Michigan ties I feel as though he would be the most welcomed and may be a legit pull. Idk if Vennables would leave clemson but could be a huge pull, especially for recruiting if them got him. So what say mgoblog in their infinite wisdom, who should we go after?

I love the Stoops fit.  But I could see him being an incredibly frustrating coach to watch.  Fundamentally sound.  Great defense.  Awful offense.  I'd gladly take him over Harbaugh, but I could see him being one of those guys who people constantly are on the verge of wanting to be fired.

Chris Partridge. Put him in charge of special teams and recruiting, give him $5m a year then another $4m a year for O and D coordinator and have him recruit his ass off.

Of course some guys will tell us "no".  But I hope that Warde Manual isn't as much of a whimpery defeatist pussy as the negative nellies in this forum who insist that the only coach that we can ever get to Michigan is Brady Hoke for his second go-round.  Yes, some guys are in their destination job.  I can name at least five guys who should be on a short list, and I'll beet that at least of them is upwardly mobile and ambitious enough to move.

Offer Urban 11 million a year on a ten year contract.

He probably says no, but whatever, he's got to be bored of being an analyst, and maybe his ego beats his loyalty.

edit: OK, I know my comment is sorta dumb, I just don't care. I want somebody who's a sure thing and there's nobody we can actually get who fits that bill.
