Dwayne Haskins Apologizes for Photos of Him with Multiple Strippers While Not Wearing a Mask

Sometimes the headline tells the story.

First paragraph says: 'The Washington Football Team said it is aware of pictures on social media showing quarterback Dwayne Haskins not wearing a mask while attending an event with strippers.'

Social Media and Strippers are usually a bad combo - especially in the middle of the season during a global pandemic and no mask to boot.

I couldn’t care less if he was with strippers. He’s putting his team at risk for missing the playoffs if he contracts COVID and spreads it through the locker room. If teammates test positive, they sit out. He’s letting his team down more than anything and that attitude won’t bode well for his career.

So you’re surprised at the selfish behavior of egocentric, insanely rich, professional athletes with terrible common sense?  He wasn’t eating pizza and snorting coke after banging a hooker, so I think this is being blown out of proportion.  Also, not surprised professional athletes have terrible judgement.

No, I’m not surprised. Didn’t say I was.
I also don’t think this is being blown out of proportion. I don’t think it’s too much to ask from a team in the playoff hunt, and from a coach battling cancer, for their players to not go party during the season, in a pandemic. Go party in the off-season. Remember when Zeke took all that heat because he had too many people to his house? It’s a special year.
There are plenty of insanely rich athletes who understand the implications of their behavior on the team and act accordingly. Haskins just isn’t one of them.

He really does seem like a dumb guy who Meyer was able to will into a first round pick.  I know they're different guys but I'd consider him a cautionary tale if I was drafting an OSU QB early because beyond the off-field issues he doesn't seem all that good on the field either.

We made him look like a genius.  Of course, he only had to be smart enough against us to count to three and shot put the ball five yards across the middle of the line of scrimmage, where one of his blazing fast WRs who just beat a LB in man coverage would grab the ball and do the rest.

I would like to know what "taking full responsibility" means these days. Seems as though the statement itself is all one needs to do to be exonerated for any transgression. Particularly in the political and sports arenas.

Don Brown personally made this guy into a (wasted) 1st round pick. In 1.5 games vs. Don's "D" the guy lit us up and ran well on us too. He owes DB millions.

Brandon Watson (now Rusnak) was repeatedly torched, and DB just kept going to the same well over and over again.

Washington should draft the BYU guy next - I don't expect to hear about him in any strip places :>)
