I think that single digit game was more an act of generous +1's, 1&1 oppo's, and no-calls given to OSU.  Take away a few key calls on Michigan, add them to OSU, and that's a 17 point game in Michigan's favor.  It was pretty tight the whole way, but only with those items going all in OSU's favor.

I don’t think that was necessarily an embarrassing loss. That LMU team absolutely caught fire. They were 21-40 from 3 in that game and had an eFG% of 67%.  Plus they were 30-36 from the FT line.  Sometimes the other team just shoots well and you lose. Although our 27 turnovers didn’t help, you have to look at in in a context of a game with about twice as many possessions as a normal game in 2020.

If you want an embarrassing loss, look at the 1989 championship team losing to Alaska-Anchorage.  Although maybe that was Glen Rice’s “thank you” to a certain sportscaster from Wasilla.  Allegedly.

If Michigan doesn't move up now, i think its a joke. An undefeated Baylor in the Big12, I can understand being below them as Michigan had 1 loss. Now, I think its pretty clear.

Baylor doesn't have an easy schedule to close either with games versus WVU on the road and closing with OkSt and Texas Tech... keep playing like they have the last two game, and I could easily see another loss or two
