This is true. Lost in the Don Brown got figured out analysis is that Indiana is the team that really figured out Brown the week before OSU. They just didn't have the across the board talent to pull it off.

Brown did adjust to most of the tricks over time, but only OSU could beat every counter to his weakness.

Kinda ironic that the defensive coordinator Don Brown gets canned and gets to take a lower tier job just to save Harbaugh's ass - primarily due to the fact that Harbaugh never figured out how to run a good offense. Interesting how that worked out. Good luck to him.

I gotta say, if Warde’s strategy was to starve us of information regarding Harbaughs status for so long that we’d eventually just give in and not care; it’s working.

Maybe his schemes got exposed without the required talent.

He didn't get any help from the OC controlling clock, scoring 35 pts a game ( the required amt to succeed).

Except for OSU, every loss blamed on Brown rests solidly in ineptitude on offense.

Everyone associated with our offensive  juggernaut needs to go before Brown.

I agree for the most part.  Brown should’ve adjusted to his personnel or lack thereof better though.  The consistent lack of talent and depth on the DL killed his defensive schemes.  When you have to rush 5 to get pressure on the qb, not much is going to go well.  Yes, our offense put the D out on the field a lot.

I guess that's why Wisconsin demolished us twice (2019 and 2020), Penn State put up a lot of points on us (2017 and 2019), and Rutger, FING RUTGER, put up 42 points on us this season.

Michigan's offenses may not have been very good throughout Harbaugh's tenure, but Brown is as much to blame for some of our losses as Harbaugh/whomever was OC.

2019 against Penn State the D only allowed 283 total yards. Just 14 first downs. And Penn State had just 22 minutes of possession. 2 of Penn States scoring drives started on their own 45 and 1 started on Michigan’s 49.

Id say that loss falls squarely on the offense’s inability to put up points and consistently move the ball down the field. This isn’t the 90’s. Your offense has to do better than 21 points if you want to win.

Happy for Don and maybe he'll learn his lesson but it is an absolute outrage that this was announced before the University even acknowledged his dismissal. He was listed as a coach when this happened. At this point JH should be fired for neglecting his job and even if you wanted him back at this point he doesnt want to be here and we need to have more pride as a program than to be hamstrung by a coach that went 2-4 this year and is 0-5 against OSU

I view this much as their hire of RR.  It will work to some degree for a couple years, but someone in the Pac12 will figure him out and it will be a quick decline.
