Does the Tucker situation help or hurt MSU?

I know there’s another Tucker thread but I’m curious to hear some opinions. I’ve seen several Spartan fans say this is a blessing because it gets them out of his ridiculous contract. While I can see that point, I’m not sure I agree. Is this setting up for a legal battle between Tucker and MSU? Or is he just looking to get some settlement cash. Either way, it seems like they are in limbo for a while since they can’t fire him yet but everyone knows he’s gone. I imagine that would make it difficult to put a plan in place for the next coach. Thoughts?

I've heard a few Michigan fans say things along the lines of, "I wish we could have beaten him one more time to at least get to .500, they're gonna throw that in our faces every time we talk about the scandal"...LOL first of all they're MSU fans, they're gonna "What about" any criticism or even just ribbing from a Michigan fan. Secondly they talk non-stop shit about Bo and Lloyd, who were 27-7 against their loss of a program. Fuck them lol.

With realignment, MSU is pretty much condemned to its long-term historical role in the B1G football pantheon as a +-2 record floating above or below.500 most years, with the once a decade or so breakthrough for good or ill, where the whole season falls or falls on upsetting the Wolverines. Short or long term, that's their future, with or without Tucker.
