Dissension on Team 144 - Could this be true? Pump it Up vs Mr. Brightside
I'm a huge believer in culture - and, Team 144 has exemplified what it means to be a team.
The following caught my attention, and I thought I'd share it. It's a short video that captures a number of players on the team - as well as Coach Moore.
It was quite apparent to me that Team 144 has some different opinions - and, may not be as aligned as I (and perhaps - you) were led to believe. The question is: "If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life - what would it be? Pump it Up or Mr. Brightside."

The team doesn't agree. So, apparently - they're not aligned on everything. Enjoy... (Yes, a degree of sarcasm.)
As for me - it's Mr. Brightside. Which would you pick?

I never heard of Brightside until recently and I don't understand the appeal, they could have picked a better song.

The team has vocalized hating the song in past years. White, angsty song.

Neither of these excites me compared to say wisky and jump around (which is getting old)

Do you prefer Mozart or a cave man banging on a coconut?
Mr. Brightside is a beautifully crafted song with compelling lyrics and impeccable singing and wonderful verse/chorus transitions whereas Pump It Up is just one verse with like 6 words, repeated ad nauseum.
Both have their place but I'll go with devolution.

If I had to pick one song it would be Temptation but you can't have one without the other so I would have to have The Hawaiian War Chant too.

Everything Else >>>> Jump Around (except You Light Up Life, Feelings and the Spartan fight song are worse)

Mostly off topic, but if we want to throw in another random song (especially after winning something) I nominate Freed From Desire. I think every European sport ever plays this song and the fans have a lot of fun with it.
