In all honesty, other than watching Michigan, I wanted the tourney to happen mainly to see just how fast they would lose. For reference, we had the no. 1 Kenpom SOS. They were 105th.

Who knows what would have happened?

I mean, of course their SOS was bad. That is out of the control of every mid major. But Toppin is an NBA lottery pick, Crutcher is a PG hitting 42% from 3 on 23% usage. They haven't lost since before Christmas, took Kansas to OT on a neutral floor (a game in which they lead by 4 possessions late in the 2nd half), and are genuinely 7 players deep.

Would I pick them to beat a high-conference 4 seed in the sweet sixteen? I don't know. But I would not have been at all surprised to see them in the final four.

Dayton fans and players lost a maybe once in a lifetime shot; they have a good program, but this team is historically good by Dayton standards. That is one of the biggest tragedies of this tournament getting canceled

Obi is a future NBA dunk champion .

Dayton couldve gone deep in the tourny, they are 7 deep with an NBA all-star type talent in Obi and the guard play is very good .They have exp, depth and a great player ,I think they wouldve made Elite 8

Garza should get the Wooden.  Toppin is great and will be a real NBA player but the season Garza just put up, against he competition he did it....POY in my mind.
