Cases are up everywhere, but they are up in schools—Georgia, Florida, Texas all at the top of the lost. Wisconsin is now surging because they, too, believe in dismantling public health mandates. My state continues to go up and is lucky tourist season is over or else it’d have gone up even more the past month. It’ll start to jump if they move kids back into schools in winter, but that’s the plan thanks to good ol’ governor.

The student sections pack together because they don't care.  And in those big stadiums if you let in 25% capacity and they all bunch down at the bottom, can't do much about it.  A&M is a huge stadium and the top sections were empty, middle sections pretty sparse.  So they just bunched at the bottom but it wasn't more than a quarter full.

The red river shootout seemed to do a very good job of spacing, though.  I wonder if they enforced that better because it looked pretty evenly distributed.

Here's your chance to put your fandom on the line, Gators fans. If you won't risk your life for the team, do you even care about the team?

Florida’s governor lifted venue capacity limits for sporting events last week, so... if he wants them packed in... he needs to take that up with his own school’s leadership.

Yeah, it's a joke they're ranked 5th but there seems to be a big cliff after the top four of Clemson, OSU, Bama and UGA.  After that, who is there?  North Carolina? PSU? Florida?  I actually think Florida is probably the 5th best.  Not really buying UNC or any of the ACC sans Clemson for that matter.

No offense, but after watching Georgia/Tennessee, unless they find a QB Georgia isn't in that top group either. They are very talented (I have DT envy) and the defense is big and mean, but that QB is very limited and due for a visit to the ER the way he plays.

That means in this Covid year you have 3 teams and maybe a wildcard 1 loss team. No reason Michigan can't be that wildcard just as well as anyone else.

There were like 20-25k at the game. What a crybaby loser. I am so glad he is not our coach. Also you want to pack 90k in so you win a game? Is he psychotic or that nervous about losing his job.

It’s incredibly stupid to put that many people in one stadium for a game. Even if everyone is wearing a mask, which they will not, you are just asking for large numbers of people to be infected from an event that size.
