Crean tries to insult Michigan, insults own team accidentally instead

Milhouse must still have a headache from getting knocked on his red keister.

IU: 4-21 on 3's. Tom Crean: "I'm not sure it was the Michigan defense. Maybe it was. I'm sure they'll credit themselves for it."#shotsfired

Never underestimate the ability of head coaches to marry excellent women. Part of their job is to convince people that they - the coaches - are the best thing for their (the recruits') futures. Edit: also never underestimate the power of the emperor, or suffer your father's fate you will.

He also said that this year's IU squad is the most immature team he's ever coached in the face of adversity.

Ouch.

The postgame comments of Tom Izzo, if Tom Izzo couldn't coach basketball at all. Almost the entire B1G would trade their talent for IU's talent -- even with OG injured. The problem isn't the players, it's the guy (trying) to coach the players. He's a bum who basically had his career launched by one player, Dwayne Wade. He's basketball Charlie Weis.

In nine years at a blueblood program, he's won 55.6% of his games and just 43.9% in conference play, while never advancing past the Sweet 16.  This, at a school that has won five national titles.

I know he inherited a terrible team from Kelvin Sampson, but you can rebuild pretty quickly in college basketball, especially at a school of that stature.  This is like Michigan football keeping a coach around for a decade whose average season is 7-5.

It was a combination of both, more so the D.  They missed some good looks, but everybody does (Michigan was just ok today from 3).  A lot of those threes were deep and toward the end of the shot clock.

But what a weird attempt at a diss.  This is the last program that would boast and claim where they shouldn't, in fact the critique is they're too nice, quiet  (white collar, etc)
