Why do they think we need an mc to tell us how to spell out Michigan? And if they are going to have an mc, he should tell the students how to do the wave correctly.

Not only that... but every cheer the offseason West Michigan Whitecaps intern tried to "explain" was overengineered and different than we normally do it.

Instead of "GO" and "BLUE" it was in 3 sections and confused everyone. Instead of spelling "MICHIGAN" around the stadium with each letter having its spot, each letter was repeated and only the M and N were heard because those letters included ALL of the end zone seats. (My section normally always does "H" and we instead got "N" yesterday.)

I live near Western Kentucky and the guy who does this at WKU games is actually the pastor of the church across the street. He is pretty low key but does a solid "hype" man thing. I never thought we'd see the day (nor ever need to try) having an onfield hype man for Michigan.

And YES... the Wave on its approach to FAST just kind of... kept going at normal speed and died. The thing that keeps the Wave moving is the changes to FAST, then SLOW, then REVERSE, then SPLIT, etc. It was the perfect tomato can for a great Wave. Alas, it was not to be. (So help me if Hype Man tries to teach us to do the Wave next week... It'll be Regular then SLOW then SPLIT then FAST then REVERSE then... you get the point.)

My lawn, remove thee from it.

the snowflakes threads are a good idea but they take up too much of the board and stay up to long pushing good post-game topics, evening games, etc off the board too quickly.

suggestion: combine them into 2 instead of 4.  so keep, say, 'offense/coaching' as one, 'defense/special teams' as the other.

all in favor, say 'aye', those opposed, same sign...
