No other place to say this, but I really like Iowa as a football team, and that is also a very good fanbase.

I happen to want to crush them today, but feels weird rooting this hard against a team I like seeing do well.

edit to add: I also feel a bit nervous about the fact that everybody thinks we win this comfortably, I mean, I do think we win this comfortably, but we were on the complete opposite side of this equation one week ago.

Take away some obvious homer officiating and MSU doesn’t get back into that game. It’s been acknowledged by the conference of game implicating mistakes. Other than that loss being to them, what irritates me the most is that it gives us no margin for error tonight. I’m really hoping next year we treat them just like we did OSU this year and play aggressor on and off the field.

I mean not everybody. Even the bets were moving towards Michigan covering it. So there were many smart people thought Michigan would at least cover. No one doubted that Michigan will have a solid offense against OSU unlike Iowa against us. It is that everyone, including myself, thought OSU will put up a lot of points. The surprise was how much they have to do to get points and how many 3rd and long or 4th and long they have to convert to get those points. Anyway, Iowa is not that. We will see how we handle Iowa. We are a complete team on all 3 phases of the ball.

I’ve told anyone who’d listen that Iowa scares the bejesus out of me. I had a quiet confidence last week with a feeling of…just maybe. I have a pit in my stomach picturing the Hawkeyes putting some turnover voodoo spell on us. I pray I’m worried for nothing. But this is the same program who made Urbans stress pimple 4 times it’s normal size.

Why wouldn't they be in Indy for MICHIGAN-IO....ohWAit.  Makes sense.

Somehow Bama is gonna win this game today and force us into another 2x SEC team playoff.

I'm nervous and have been since last Saturday that Kirk is gonna be all wily tonight and that him and his staff have been in a lab all week figuring out the perfect gameplan to knock us off.

What? No.  That would require Georgia still being #1 after a loss to Alabama or us dropping two spots after a win.

If Georgia wins and chalk in the other games it's

(1) Georgia vs. (4) Oklahoma State or Cincinnati

(2) Michigan vs. (3) Oklahoma State or Cincinnati

If Alabama wins it's

(1) Alabama vs. (4) Oklahoma State or Cincinnati

(2) Michigan vs. (3) Georgia

Lurking on some Iowa forums this morning, and mostly what you'd expect (most calling for a close Iowa victory/ mad they're being counted out.)

However, there does seem to be a sentiment with the fanbase that if they beat us they maybe make the playoff, which seems... unlikely.

Hats off to the Michigan dude in the maize sweatshirt who planted himself right behind the College Game Day set, between all the red Alabama and Georgia fans.

I like his glorious defiance.

And again Pollack has to bring up UM being rated above MSU a week after that game.

You would think by now he might give credence to the Committee for knowing what they were talking about.

I was feeling fine and confident, but after everyone talking about Iowa scaring them, my stomach is getting in knots and my anxiety is going up. Why is this happening to me?

I have to laugh, when ESPN shows the victory highlights of The Game, they use Brandy's radio call for the audio.

They won't use Gus's legendary "Michigan beats Ohio State.  42 to 27.  FFFINALLY!" because it's Fox sports.
